how big are they and what builds them? are there different types? yes different tech but different types? water mines? air mines if possible? mobile mines? subterra mines?

also, will you be bringing back the idea of individual constructor types?

a permanent jet upgrade that turns it into a highly mobile jet that can access any area and vulnerable only to aa.

or a permanent sub upgrade that turns it into a sub thats vulnerable to torpedoes while submerged, but while surfaced, it has a faster build speed but is vulnerable to all but aa.

that type of deal

Will there also be naval mines or depth charges? I always wanted to have some more defenses against naval units so just wondering if you were considering those.

Navy is the easiest thing to counter....I can tell you many ways, but at the same time, navy itself can be a nice shore defense ! I always use some small frigates to counter air attacks before they reach my base ;)

Not possible also i cant see why it would need to be its a defense unit, Also there will be a unit that can detect them plus the ACU.

will omni sensors detect them?

cybrans have a mobile stealth gen xp, why doesnt the uef have a mobile omni sensor xp? one thats built to provide all types of detection. field of vision, stealth, sonar, radar, mines. you could use the mega fortress actually. it isnt a fortress without all that.

would it be possible to carry a ship or experimental underneath using ropes? i think its so stupid to see it just dissapear and then reappear. i wanna see a horde of mega fortresses carrying king kriptors and battleships underneath using chains. that would be the only way anyway. that would be much more realistic. that and carrying something so heavy would also make them much slower.

You must not watch many sci fi shows like stargate, If transports worked like they did in FA it would predate all of the other tech used, Its like saying lets add a house and cart aswell and sorry but if they did use chains to transport units i dont think i would even be modding this game.

okay thats like saying why arent all the units hoveing? why isnt the monkeylord a hovertank? why are the uef still using a air cushion on a t4 hovertank when the mega fortress can fly? why isnt everything flying?

because its cool! huge spider legs and gargantuan bipedal awesomness! you know that if all of supcom where real, the aeon would look at the six legged walker like what the ****? why isnt this thing flying? oh thats right because we thought it would be a cool intimidation factor. well sorry but actually being efficient is better than the intimidation factor acording to what your saying so lets **** avitus off and have him go back and replace all the legs with antigrav. or better yet, lets make EVERYTHING fly... im not the only one that would hate that. sorry if i sound ****** off but just trying to defend my point. i really hate the idea of transport they have now. how do they store a king kriptor in such a small transport? they make it smaller. why dont we just make them the same size as normal units so we can put an army of the big guys instead! right...

and no im not too fond of stargate. battlestar galactica not so much either. too hard to follow if you havent watched the rest of the series.

As for your Idea,Hmm i think here's how to do the intimidation,yet not scale back on the tech.

Create a bigger transport! A transport,but not entirely one.

Hmm a Mobile Army Assault platform? A Sky Barge?
