Too much anime style to me :( I think they would be good SACU while vanilla ACU would stay as ACU.
i prefer anime style much more than scrap iron style!
if there is any 2leg mech in any game i prefer it to be like this instead of a first century model design robot! update ur eyes to handle better quality dude!
I actually much prefer the originals, or at least some of them. To me, these look far more..... Eccentric than useful. While I like the new Aeon commander because it just looks and feels better than the original, and I think the Cybran's wouldn't be far off with the anime-style commander, due to their robotics, spindly parts, etc.
The UEF would never consent to such a thing. And It looks NOTHING like a UEF unit. Honestly.
Also, I have to point out that the Cybran and UEF ACU's look fairly identical, and I know I'm not the only one who see's this. It would be far better in my opinion if the UEF one got switched back to his original revamped model. Although thinned out to fit the theme I guess...

The Cybran one Reminds me of a Head you can get from this mech game called Armored Core, Not enough games like that anymore. Perhaps giving us the option to decide which types of ACU we want would be best, as it seems there are many who like the Anime one and many who like the other redone ACU. But is it possible without Desyn issues?
Since you mentioned Armored Core, you know they're making AC5, right?
Mate i know what u want but i belive the vast majority likes this model enough for it to be in the next update.

lol aeon acu is like a toy compare to those 2 other ultra model acus :D
maybe the legs could be more high tech? i have no idea how because im not a genius like Avitus but im sure the Aeon Acu can be improved even more to match 2 other ultra acus
though its ok with me im not a Aeon player so i will leave it to their taste :D
god i wish they were able to move like the mech in "Universe at war earth assault" or "armored core" dashing around in long distance travels and walk in close distance travel :D

The UEF ACU looks like its just Loaded with weapons compared to the others. Will the Cybran ACU still have the Nano gun like in the last mod?
Personally i think they remind me of Gundam Mobile Suits. From the Anime series, and since i am a big Gundam Mobile Suit anime fan i really like these new ACUs. They are looking great! Keep up the good work and i can't wait to use these in-game!

Yes the Cybran acu will still have the Nano weapon, It also has a separate barrel for it now to, (its under the normal barrel).
Love the new ACU's best looking units in the whole game in my opinion, can't wait to see the Support ones. By the way are the research equipment going to pretty much the same as vanilla, or are you improving that too? Just wondering cause even though the vanilla upgrades were suppose to make the ACU stand up in a firefight it didn't really help all that much.

hey man don't worry they really don't all look the same, the Cybran and UEF ACUs do look a little similar in this pic but in 3d they look nothing alike.
Would it be possible to make the Cybran ACU slightly more insectoid. That way it would be more easily separated from the UEF ACU? Whilst they are different they seem to be more similar to each other than the aeon is to either of them and it doesn't quite seem right. Anywho great work. :D

I like how very different the aeon looks. you can see some similar ancestries as they are all divergent from humans but still see how they have actually diverged very clearly. If there wasn't so much bloom this would be worthy of a desktop background!
I think that if not the paint, the UEF and Cybran ACU looks almost the same. I know the model diffrence, but in this picture they are almost the same.

All of them look great, and these renders are really, really nice. I can't really see what people are saying with them looking too similar, other than proportions and anatomy the designs are different, but perhaps giving the Cybran ACU a second pair of smaller, simple utility arms from under the chest might distinguish it enough for people

They're cool,esp. the cybran one. Just the Aeon ACU's legs look still a bit "awkward", if compared to the other two's. Also I think making the UEF ACUS's head a bit "bulkier" would go a long way in making it look different from the cybran one. Ofc. it's impossible to judge well without an in-game prospective.
All in all, a gorgeour job!
