Resident evil 3.5 - Hullucination Biohazard. hey guys, for all the people who wanted the hookman, the fog version (or the umbrella version (yes it's all the same stuff nobody ever noticed :O)) the RE4 beta's. I am making a ground breaking RE4 mod that completely changes the game and the location of where the game takes place. were working on RE3.5 mansion (with some changes) the airship from the original trailers recently revealed content by shinji mikami uploaded revealing a lot about the story, backstory, game setting (location: FRANCE, PARIS, 4 months one day after Raccon city).
i'm really sorry for over two weeks of no updates.
a few days back i just watched the re3.5 gameplay footage 3 times after eachother in oder to make my animations better. that's when i realised the pose my leon had didn't look all that much like the real thing. so i moved his arm with flashlight more up. and had his arm with gun closer to his body.
this is the result compared to a verry pixely original version.
the animation program as always is Autodesk Maya 2012
nice update koen, what about the map?
Well with the maps I have this issue because they were modeled in google sketchup they have (when imported in a different modeling program) some parts turn black and these parts disappear when using the model in things such as gamecore. So I must find a fix first. I thought I fixed it before but that turned the surfaces of my mansion to water.
So it would be nice if someone knows how to get my models properly from sketchup... I know I'm really stupid for even putting so much work into something like sketchup..
Looks great, tough sorry to hear about the problem with the software, maybe search on google for a solution?
well yeah koen this is a simple issue not a falling down :D, i saw on the net too many mappers make things on sketchup and then they import it too many engines... i will keep an eye on it...
by the way, make a thread on the forum asking too mappers about that!
cheers and keep it up dude!
Good advice. I'll do that tomorrow :D
Also I think I found out what could be the problem... Sketchup supports models even if they have unthinkable amounts of faces and vertexes. My model of the mansion had over 200.000 vertexes!!!!! Most 3d model using software can't handle that much at once. So I might have to trim or do it in pieces.. And if that doesn't work well forums should help me then..
