Research and Development is a puzzle-centric mod for Half-Life 2: Episode Two featuring an unarmed player but plenty of violent mayhem.

Easily the best HL2 mod I've ever played. Wonderfully designed maps and puzzles. Great pace and flow. Very [rofessional effort all around. If I were forced to complain about anything it would simply be the lack of a player model in the scenes with the hacked together vehicle. Loved it, thanks for the experience!
11/10

Main difference from another mods - authors do not give player any weapon and all mod consist of many different logic puzzles. And authors hit the mark. This is all what I need. Last levels are awesome.

Very awesome non gun based little campain, think portal of a mix between an oldschool adventure game and half life.

There comes a time where you realize that, big-time game developers aren't the only ones who can make a ground-breaking game. Sure, this is a mod, but there's enough new content that it feels like a new game all on it's own.
The zero-point energy cubes were amazing, and Mr. Whirly was a bunch of fun. This is a must-play mod for anyone into games like Portal.
