Research and Development is a puzzle-centric mod for Half-Life 2: Episode Two featuring an unarmed player but plenty of violent mayhem.
Very good job. The puzzles are really well done and very original. None of them is brilliant or very difficult but they are very close to it. Congrats.
Very creative. I didint think that with no weapons there are so may different possibilities. Sometimes there is little time 2 think (little train part) but overall Very entertaining. Keep up the good work. Cheers : D
Best mod of the 2009
Seriously one of the best mods I've ever played!
Everything was brilliant, and especially the mapping!
The concept of this game, is from what I've seen, not very common! And it is done in a great way! The concept is completed in such a great way!
10/10 for sure!
Creative, challenging, epic, awesome.
One of the coolest mod ever. Greates puzzle game. True game. An expecptional work. Mbortolino also made mod "Water". What can i say? A really gifted person, true talant.
A clever and fun mod with interesting puzzles and wonderful application of familiar HL2 mechanics.
A truly fantastic mod.
The puzzles are diverse and interesting.
Some parts are frustrating (Cart riding with grenade throwing enemies, and the start of Chapter 4), but the rest is a real blast... literally.
There's also some funny momments and a few references (e.g. A-Team).
The only reason it's not getting a 10, is that it took me 3 hours to complete, which is too short. Others might get more time out of it, so I imagine it deserving a higher score for those cases.
Overall, it's a must play, and i cannot wait to see a sequel to it!
R and D is the greatest HL2 mod ever made, it's fun, there are various situations where you need to scratch your head, and it has a high replay-value. Modding at genius-level.
