Various Screens - Space Skirmish image - Republic at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Will the ISDs be as powerful as canon would indicate; they seem to be throwaway ships in most mods instead of being true maleficent juggernauts. Also, will ISDIIs make an appearance?
Sorry No!. ISD II did not enter service till 19 years after the Clonewars. At least according to wookiepedia. So its very illogical to put it into that time frame.

Awesome great screen. Sadly its not going to be in the general galactic conquest mode of play. Its quiet an interesting model, much better then the stock.
I was just reading up on them on wikipedia to remind myself how cool star destroyers are :) and I found out that the imperial model could enter atmosphere? I wanna park one in my backyard but I'm pretty sure it would squash my whole hometown lol - anyway I was curious - has one entered atmosphere in a book that I haven't read yet or is that just wikipedia statistics?
Theyre about a mile long, which would be a bit of a main road. And some games show them in the background, the force unleashed shows them the background in Kashyyyk on the first level and in Corellia in a cutscene.
And read wookieepedia, that would give more info than wiki:)
