Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

i hope the 4 front and 2 back turrets rotate and look like they are firing and not just sitting there staticly.
..will it be able to deploy troops? ..since they are also used for tansport as well :D
from where that's not a troop transport version .
You can see the side door. Besides, all versions of the AT-TE had Troop Transport Capabilites.
i hope its not one of those weird, ammiture mod (which no way its gonna be!!!) where when the AT-TE has the "dropping additional stormtroopers" sound like the rest...

Thank you for finally giving us an AT-TE that looks like its WALKING, instead of the other mods with them in it where only the legs move.
I think he posted a walking animation link for the AT-TE a while back...
i would have to agree, a lot of others did not put the body into the animations, it makes them look odd in game

Yeah, the textures always look a little bad when you view images in original.. or at least they do so for me.

This should actually be superior to the AT-AT since this is more of a combat vehicle rather than a transport :X

The AT-AT is definitely superior to the AT-TE. This is a fact that cannot be argued against.
-The AT-AT has MUCH stronger armor, impervious to almost every weapon.
-The AT-AT has stronger laser cannons.
-The AT-AT has a higher vantage point for it's guns.
-The AT-AT is far less vulnerable to anti-tank mines, due to it's extreme hight and armor.
Really the only disadvantage it has to the AT-TE is that it has no rear facing guns to protect it from the behind and flanks, but because the armor is nearly invincible to most weapons, it really doesn't matter.
You're absoultely right. ATATs would pwn ATTEs any day...Sadly this ATTE vs ATAT is not argueable unlike ARCs vs Commandos...

Actually, in the clone wars, the first AT-AT's (yes, there were AT-AT's in the clone wars) were inferior to the AT-TE. The current AT-AT is an enhanced version made by General Veers.
They may have been, given that they would be some 20+ years earlier than the ones on Hoth, and would be more like prototypes than anything.
Now this..... this is the reason I will reinstall the game.

I wish I still new the link to the animation video he made for the AT-TE a year back. It was unskinned, but look incredible. I think it is somewhere on EEAW, so if anyone wants to see it they could try digging around there. For anyone who doesn't know, the URL is everythingeaw.com, and it's posted on the summary page on MODDB for this mod as the mod's official website.

Thanks for posting. I tried finding it, but I couldn't remember if it was on EEAW or elsewhere. I love the death animation, it almost looks as though it is a living beast. Great work on it!
EDIT: Guess I was wrong about it being unskinned as well, but it had been so long I guess I couldn't remember. Oh well. ;)
