Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Black holes that cause damage to ships if they pass into them? It is the Maw after all.

From this perspective it looks like Republic cruiser is ramming CIS frigate. Even shields flash, apparently from collapsing?

The rings are beacons...... But what are they signaling? Hmmmmmm.......... ! I know! They must be there to show where star bases or space sturctures are!

well since the station is in the center and you said to be creative, i would hazzard a guess at a new defend against waves skirmish mode
the powers on the right mean its from gc that why you cant upgrade the station it must be the new top power in the top right
is it showing that in gc space battle you start a attack from different places depending on where you launched your attack from

I'm gonna guess it is something to do with that extra upgrade thingy for the space station. The red and white bomb. I have no idea what it could be used for though...
That or something to do with either calling in reinforcements or retreating.
The bomb is for more bomber damage.

I think its the different gc attack points thing
now that you mention it , it indeed look like a ram attack when one use 'view original'
it looks very much to me that it would be either a ramming feature or missile collisions, but that still leaves the circles on the mini-map in question...

I'm guessing a backwards version of the gravity well generators making it impossible for ship to enter the operational area from hyperspace/ either that or ramming ability or having ships using "noclip" but taking damage for everything it physically touches
either that or secondary defense space stations because that kinda looks like a destroyed class 1 Golan Arms Defensive space station
mobile space stations? or MULTIPLE space stations? multiple of something big!
yeah i've always wanted to be able to have more just like in the expansion meaning it is possible. the more the merrier and the bigger the better
