Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
I've been working a bit the the difficulties of "Triad of Evil" and the core changes have been made, like reducing the planet count.
I going to focus on some other GCs too soon.

It's Yavin 4. Why shouldn't there be troops? It was a base from where Rebel fighters took off to destroy some kind of a space boob in that weird '70s movie, what's it called...
He means on the actual planet. It doesnt look like they are on the moon. And seeing how the actual planet yavin was a gas giant...

But I think understand the confusion.
You see, the name on the right says Yavin 4. That should mean the units are definitely on Yavin 4.
But, unit icons are placed above the planet instead on its moon because it would be impossible/silly/impractical for them to rotate around along with Yavin 4.
They could have made Yavin 4 and Yavin appear as two separate planets, but since they share the same space in Space (space battles over Yavin 4 are at the same time over Yavin), and there is no land on Yavin, it makes more sense that they are represented with one planet.
And so space is over Yavin, but land is only on its moon, Yavin 4.
I hope it clears up the confusion!
they were on the moon of yavin 4 not the planet if i remember correctly beacuse the death star had to go around the planet to fire at their base
yeah..and dats just realy makes no sense...why they go round the planet(Yavin)with the Death Star? when they could just blow the **** out of Yavin to clear the line of sight,but ill think dat the destruction of Yavin would have torn apart its moons too...so...FK..yeah..go round the great red **** and let the rebs blow up out brand new spacestation...omg

Nope, that would probably make the gass combust, though the explosion would not get far because of the vacuum of space.
So is the AI going to be ungodly hard still, or are you working on that too? Only thing that kept me from playing this.

Will the Cis Heroes like Grievous have 50% bonus in space and the soon-to-be-added Tactical Droids have 25% bonus in space. I feel like when I play as the cis on hard, I will need every advantage I can get against victory star destroyer spam and arc swarms. The CIS is screwed since missile defense abilities from the Munificient are insufficient against missile torpedo spam, that's why cis needs something with MISSILE JAMMING
50% percent is too much, I would understand 25% for Grievous and 15% for the Tactical droids, maybe 20% for Super Tactical Droids. (Maybe for the future, would be cool)
I do agree that CIS has no defense against missles. Only efficient way is lots of munificents covering each other with missle defense.
I think the supply ship with missle jamming would help
I wonder if core ships will be added at some point?

Is there any plans on making a smaller Clone Wars map? Like the 40 planets or how the vanilla map sizes are. It's very hard to manage so many different worlds and you can't do anything while paused.
