Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
The one thing that always bothered me about Space in EAW was the lack of realism. It always looked "comic book like". We have attempted to rectify this. As you can see in the images.

Gayest Ships I ever saw LoL Not because of the mod, just plain because they look gay...LoL I really can not see myself utilizing those as a valuable asset. Be pretty fun destroying them with the Subjugator class in the game :)
I use them as support ships. They're really tough.

the malevolence is not a support ship! the main role of these ships are to make sure that bigger ships don't get destroyed. Last time i checked, the malevolences role wasn't to make sure that munificent frigates didn't get destroyed, it was to annihilate anything in its path.
If you made the same pick with a Providence Class and two Banking Clan Frigates, I might **** in my pants LoL

Think of this, an invincible metalic army of robotic humanoids capable of Crushing anything they incounter. That was the original dream of the CIS. This new ******** on TV that gives them squeaky voices just sucks. Now if they had the voices from Episode 1 and the CIS ACTUALLY WON ONCE IN A DAMN WHILE LIKE THEY ACTUALLY DID, the show would be pretty cool :)

they may not win evey time, but the republic will usually loose alot of units in the battles. Besides, the republic did win the war, so it wouldn't surprize me that they won alot of battles.
the republic wouldnt have won the war if that *** sidious had followed through on his promise to Dooku to kill anakin if dooku started to loose, but i guess thats a sith's promise 4 ya

of course a providence and 2 munifecents can take down these things. Its like sending a imperial star destroyer to take out a frigate. You would have to match them with equal ships on the other side to see which ship is stronger.

they were trying to board the ship, not destroy it. If they opened fire on the frigate in episode 4, it would be scrap metal in a matter of seconds. they knew that the plans for the death star were on the ship, so they needed to board it and find them to make sure that they were there.
