Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
The Malevolence attacking a Republic Task Force
does it easily defeat all 3 of those ships?
Well; the EMP will knock out the shields and the engines, and if the Malevolence has any powerful lasers (or hyena bombers) the Vetanor cruisers are scrap metal.

Yes. The Ion Cannons can knock out at least one (probably 2, if the other side works as well). But even then, if the Ion cannons aren't used, those Venator's won't last very long. It's like the SSD in FoC: You'd need a lot of Mon Cals and B-Wings to take it out, even without an escort.

In the series the ion ray was this big circle that netruelized three ships at the same time. This one looks like it just takes them out one at a time. Aside from that, it looks badass. Great job

In the data images, it says that the malevolence is almost 8,000 meters long while the pride of the core is only several kilometers long. Last I checked, several meant more than two but not that many.
well, a kilometer is much longer than 1 meter and a couple can be somewhere between 2-8.

I bet the Malevolence takes up the whole screen and costs as much as the deathstar if not more.
Logically it shouldn't It's nowhere near as big and doesn't have nearly enough firepower.
Believe it or not during playtesting.. I took my shiny Malevolence, with 8 Munificent Frigates, 2 Providence Carriers and 6 Recusants to Coruscant. To face off against 6 Venators 12 Acclamators, and a bevy of smller ships. I had forgotten that Coruscant has a W-165 planetary turbolaser. My Malevolence fired 2 shots disabling 2 Venators then in turn was destroyed by 2 shots from the W-165. My mini fleet was then crushed before I could even hyperspace out. This happened within a span of 25 seconds.
So how times per minute would you say the Malevolences Ion cannon can fire?
