Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

We never thought chunks of a ship falling off was realistic, so no there will be no giant pieces falling off... just lots of smoke and fire.

Does the ship at least break in half when its destroyed. Because some of the Star wars ships did that.

I think it shouldn´t have the Republic signs because it´s a ship of the new empire

z3r0x I have to correct you

"The ISD was out at the tail-end of the Clone Wars. "
___
it was the Victory SD

Actually you're both incorrect - the Victory SD was out around 20BBY (2nd year of the Clone Wars), the ISD was out around 22BBY.

You might want to check Wookiepedia on that. Clearly the year it was introduced is wrong as this statement below outlines

"The Imperator-class was designed as a massive, powerful, mid-sized warship,[3], and appeared in limited numbers during the Clone Wars, where it served in several Republic task forces.[2] As the war neared its end in 19 BBY, the production lines of new Imperator-class and Tector-class destroyers expanded, while the lines for the older, lighter Venator-class slowed down."

The Victory Fleet was launched 20.1 BBY. Which is one year before the end. The ISD was launched the ending year of 19BBY. Per The Clonewars Visual Guide and other sources. However wookiepedia seems to contradict this. In several sources. BUT the fact that the Vessel was called the Imperator Class clearly shows its Republic Service as all Kuat built capital ships had latin names during Republic Times. The Victory was not a Kuat only ship.

Mandator
Procurator
Venator
Imperator
Acclamator

The one unique vesel seems to be the Gladiator Class.. but could be a fluke.
