Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
In the past we introduced some other parts of version 1.2 like our new logo. this time we want to give you a preview for our new splash screen which will appear in the mod but also in the updated launcher and installer. we have some more ideas for it but this is the version we prefer.
At all the Republic at War Modding Team want to thank you folks for the support you give us, the suggestions we get and the patient you bring with yourself. It was intended to release the new Version 1.2 but due the absence of z3r0x who has some Materials we still need yet in his personal hand we were not able to give you a full featured new release. Instead we tried to concentrate on suggestions and reported bugs from you and tried to fix them.
After all we still can say 1.1.5 was a very successful release, however the whole year was sadly not.
For the next year 2014 we hope we can show you some more images and features of upcoming releases. We also hope to release new versions of the mod. We can not promise you anything as real life is full with work and stuff be we will work as hard as possible to reach our own goals.
We with you a happy and successful new Year and we hope you will stay with us one more year together to have fun with this great comunity

I love this mod and i can't wait for z3r0x return and 1.2 release, but i don't like at all this splash screen.
I'm not saying it's badly made, but it's my point of view, i think it's not in mind of mod, i prefered the other :)

Guys, we made this for you. If you don't like this splash screen I can put that hellmet on trooper's head, and delete blood like trace. No problem at all... Still I wanted to make some image with little bit more "hard core" approach. If you want nice and polite Mickey Mouse Star Wars style look, that's ok, too... And this is not final version of splash screen, just one more image... We still sketching all mod. Tnx for your comments anyway.
Well I'm completely with you on that hardcore approach, but I think it's still better with the helmet on.
I'll have to agree with the others that it didn't quite fit the mod, imho it had some kind of cheesy 80s action movie look, which is not generally bad, but again just doesn't fit so well here. ;)

I like the new splash screen. But if you like hardcore screens, then you shuold look at Hdwallpaper.ws .
It's not Clone Wars era, but the style is imho good.

This looks grate:) when will it be estimated to come out, and also can you increase the amount of units in a ground battle so you can have more troops on the ground. Cant wait to see finished resault

There's only one thing that I really want these guys to do for version 1.2: fix the A.I. After installing this mod, I began noticing huge problems with the A.I., from both the original game, and the mod itself. The skirmish battle A.I. is nowhere near as good as it should be. Galactic Conquest is better, however when playing the original game, the Zann Consortium literally just sits on the planets they own and do nothing while you wipe them out no problem. Please, help us Republic at War mod team...you're our only hope.
