Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Looks great!
the Vanilla Fondor was arguably the worst map in the game, so it's great to see a good new map of it!

the size alone made it terrible... what were petroglyph thinking? it was half the size of the already miniscule maps! there was no strategy to it!
-go left
-go up
-go right
-destroy base
-done.

Humans are pathetically weak in the games, not like what the militias should be i.e. weak, but powerful enough to be threatening to the enemy. the only groups that fulfill that in vanilla are mandalorians, rancors, tusken raiders and mustafarians (although the latter 2 fire too slowly to be effective)...
Humans can, and probably will be destroyed in the map, but they could just as easily be ignored to a casualty of only a few soldiers.

lol, Don't rip on Petroglyph too much. They still made a fine game for Z and his team to work off of to bring us this beautiful and extremely well-made mod.

They were once apart of the team that made C&C so I don't think they had any other options besides doing a RTS because that was what they were most experienced at.

Description

This is the final build of the fondor map. Created 10 new props just for this map alone... Gonna be posting pics of the final builds of the maps as I complete them. Most of them are done they just need map markers.. plus this gives me a chance to make any final adjustments to them as I did with this one. Had to finish a last minute prop that I felt was lacking.
