Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

This isn't dead yet? Interesting...We might yet get a new release. Though with Z dead, will you release it without him?

Has there been commotion within the team?

Zerox, mod leader and the guy who did a lot of content for RAW, went offline on Mar 30, 2013 and never came back online, thus going what modders call: "dead" (not online in forever, thus gone)
The RAW team stated on several occasions that they wouldn't release a new version unless Zerox returned, but as he's been gone for so long I asked if they'd release a new version with Z gone, to which I got a positive reply, meaning the new version will be released even if Zerox isn't coming back. Which is great ofcourse.

its probably in the best interest of the community and team. this mod has been near dead for a year with the fan base waiting for the infamous 1.2 so this is definetly a breath of fresh air.

Has anybody else been here since the beginning? Ive been following this mod for 5 years and I have to say that I miss how active this mod used to be, normally we'd get hundreds of comments on a photo like this but now we get 15. It is really very sad..

Fans should do social media promotions of this mod. It's such a fun mod, and the modders obviously worked so hard to make it awesome. What's sad is that we have to rely on the modding community to create/enhance great Star Wars games because Lucasarts (and now Disney) rarely give the fans what they want from a Star Wars computer or video game, with some good exceptions.

Agreed, though I've gotten at least a half-dozen people into this mod, and there's still a reasonable amount of activity on everythingEAW; it's good enough to draw people in, it would seem :). Still, it'd be nice to see this getting the widespread playing it deserves. I think Anakin's modding tool, when finished, will also draw a crowd.

Still don't like the merchant dock units, Z95s are oversized and ridiculously weak, should be on par with starter squadrons, Marauder is good, but a corellion gunship would be nice

It would be cool if Merchant Docks in Skirmish games had unique units corresponding to the unique planet map.
- N-1 starfighters (and the other Naboo starfighters and bombers from Galactic Battlegrounds) for Naboo
- Corellian corvettes at Corellia
- cloud car at Bespin
- Starvipers at Mandalore
- old Sienar models over Corulag...

although were still in Clone Wars time so some models might not exist like Starvipers...

I had that problem and I can help you :) do you use windows vista, 7 or 8? If so then you will have used a RAM patch, right? Make sure that the one you use is the OFFICIAL RAM patch. There are plenty of copies. If you don't know which one it is, PM me and I'll try to find it for you

Description

This map is a bit older but still newer that the map we have in RaW 1.1.5. We still have some Maps open on our list including some maps from vanilla FoC or even EaW. We hope to increase our quality more to start off with some really interesting maps that are already sketched.

This is our new Map called Endor Rocks. It is a Skrimish map and will come with the new 1.2 release.
