Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Man I hate the mandator! not in the mod but in general. its so boring looking and its not suited as an attack ship, more for a "seconary shipyard" defending a planet

well the truth is the mandator 1 is a defence ship, the mandator class 2 is and upgraded version whit better hyperdrive

Roughly how many hardpoints does pride of core have because i thought that the amount on the executor in the old game was overkill

gen4321 - - 1,034 comments

It wasn't overkill, it was just about right. All i could ask for from the executor was longer range, stronger hull, and maybe anti fighter batteries to make it invincible! >:D

Its not meant to be invincible
But it could have longer range

It's meant to be a massively powerful flagship, and who wouldn't want an invincible battleship?!?!!! :D

if it was invincible you couldnt lose and that would make the game pointless i wanta challenge even when ive got pride of core

The Mandator II-class was a powerful vessel. While Star Destroyers like the Venator-class could stand up to a handful of Separatist Recusant-class light destroyers, a Star Dreadnaught like the Mandator II-class could withstand an assault of up to 1,000 of these warships.[1] As such, the vessel carried reactor equipment large enough to force the length of its hull up to a magnitude of at least 8km.[2]

that doesn't sound like a defense ship

I said=Considerd

To me, i dont really care Tbh. Imagine if the Malovence was branded 'Non-cannon', yet the mandator was branded "Canon"

Thats rather unfair to give the Republic a big dreadnaught and the CIS nothing, right?

The Malevolence should be a super star destroyer sized ship, so that the CIS can have a bit of fun. Also, in one of the episodes with the Malevolence, there is a small fleet of republic ships getting gunned down next to it, including a venator, and compared to the Malevolence it is ridiculously tiny, so making the malevolence obscenely huge would be fun as well as realistic to Clone Wars.

The Malevolence is so much more potent than Pride of the Core - one Ion Cannon shot and the Pride of the Core is rendered instantly useless. It can be the size of a CR70 for all I care... :D

The Pride was mainly a... 'Pride' ship... Kuat built it just cause the could... It stayed mainly on Kuat... It wasn't meant as an offensive ship mainly due to it's size- the hyperdrives would need to be massive and it just wasn't practical. The ship was meant as a defensive one, to guard Kuat. In any case... I like it! But it should be a one time deal- you can build it only once, and once it gets destroyed- you're screwed...

Now, now... You shouldn't call someone a noob for not knowing the whole SW lore... Though, in deed- at least read the pic description... Though, in some aspects, he is right- the 'Pride of The Core' Mandator is sort of the prototype for the Eclipse and the rest of the Star Dreadnought family.

The reason why the mandator looks so boring is beacuse it has no colours!
IT NEEDS COLOURS!
Imagine what a paint job you could do with all that hull space...

Description

Well, I felt like there were too many pictures involving the CIS winning, so I wanted to post some of the Republic invading with the Pride of the Core and wiping out a level 5 CIS station above Geonosis.
