Campaign "Fall of the Jedi" image - Republic at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
This is actually pretty cool. In this campaign as you play as the Republic. Things start happening, and as you progress eventually Order 66 happens and you get to be a witness to the purge and the transformation of the Republic to the Empire.

one thing you also ajusted the animated holograms, like this one of palpatine, to the other campaing before these events, and to another caracters, like clone troopers or jedi?Or u are using the preexisting one's
These holograms are a complete pain in the *** to make.. and I mean complete pain in the ***. One of the most difficult things for this game to make. There is a guy who made a new one and it looked terrible because he did it wrong, but we have one thats a Clone trooper and its still not done. It looks almost identical to the stock holograms but its only half completed. To make these takes 3 different programs and a LOT of work.. I may complete it and toss it in just to say.. heh.. look what I did. But in the end.. not many people will care about the hologram and it may not be worth my time. We have not made any for the CIS nor will we.. again its taken a un-godly amount of time to make just one.

This is not a "campaign" perse.. This is a scripted event that happens. Its a long event with several things that take place but you as the player cant control it and you dont participate. You are simply a witness to it. Once the transition is complete to the Empire you wipe out the remaining CIS as the Empire. You will be given 3 brand new ISD mk1s also and the first new TIE fighters. You can only build V-Wings and Darth is flying in a Black Actis fighter.
If you are playing as the CIS as this is taking place, you will lose Count Dooku, Grievous, Asajj Ventress and Nute Gunray. A new CIS general will take control and you still have access to some other characters as well.
What about Durge because on the EU Anakin kills him before the end of the clone wars?
Perhaps better wording could have been chosen because I thought people were going to get confused about this. The idea of a Story campaign like those of the EAW and FOC default ended with Bryant.
It is a Galactic Conquest scenario that follows the time of the Order 66, not a campaign.

LOL alternate history! the CIS will become the renmant but still be able to kick Rep. ***! just kidding under my watch that's not gonna happen! and neither will order 66! clones execute Palpatine! what? i'm their commander ive led them since day 1 of the clone war so they must obey right?
But so ... what exactly triggers the Order 66 to start? Cause as a CIS player it would be better to prevent it, as it quite weakens you, right? And the other question is, how exactly the CIS victory of conquering the galaxy would be. This actually would mean to somehow kill Sidious so that Dooku can be the first leader, cause Palpatine has planned the downfall of the CIS in any case.

The order doesnt really weaken the CIS, the order in itself was killing off the Jedi, Aniken (Darth Vader at this point) ddnt kill the leaders and shut down the droid armies untill after the Temple had been cleared out.

That would make sense since Gizor Delso did try to resurrect the CIS at Mustafar. It would be nice to see what would happen if he did succeed in creating a second droid rebellion. (Here is Delso's bio for those who don't know him)

The Clone Wars vanilla campaign has no Order 66 or other political events.
For the CIS campaign who will be the new general be if most of them are dead. If you're going stay true to the star wars story, the CIS player should lose Dooku, Grievous, Ventress, Durge, Jango, and Gunray. The only CIS heroes that would be alive are Aurra Sing and Cad Bane and I don't think they have the interest in keeping the separatists alive.

Lok Durd Assumes command of the CIS Jango stays.. as does Ventress and Durge.. but the CIS now have Bossk, Cad Bane, and Aurra Sing.
has any one else eve got the exeption error when trying to play foc?
If you're running vista or 7 with more than 8gb of RAM, I had the same problem. Search for vista patch foc and you should find a patch that will fix the problem. Otherwise, idk
will the lower techs that dont have all the big ships like tech 1 be more land based until you get to w/e tech you get bigger ships with?
