Republic at War is a total conversion mod for the game "Empire at War Forces of Corruption". The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. The mod focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various campaigns of the Clone Wars such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Republic at War is a total conversion mod for the game "Empire at War - Forces of Corruption". The mod will replace the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. The mod will focus heavily on the Jedi Order with emphasis on the Jedi Council. The mod contains multiple sandbox modes that allow the player to re-enact various campaigns of the Clone War such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players have the choice to fight as the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Send in a squad of clones or a whole battalion, or use one of the many clone units such as the 501st. Players have the ability to control such characters as General Grevious, Jango Fett, Mace Windu, Yoda, and many many more.

I'm struggling to download this file.
The download first starts off at like 17kb/s, and steadily decreases in speed, until it is about at 20%, then it reaches 0bs/s.
Did anyone else run into this problem?
This mod lags a lot on starting menu (too big space battle on backround) and Galacic Conquests lag too... Skirmishes not lagging. Anyone can solve this problem?
Great mod. I will gladly play it on GC but unfortunately only skirmish works well. GC loads OK, but crashes every time I start a space battle.
All is installed as should be - I hope someone will know how to circumvent this issue.

I recently downloaded the RaW 1.1, however it appears on my computer as a .RAR file and my computer can't read it, even in notepad or Open-Office. What do i do with the .RAR file to mod my game version? The installation guide says to use the RaW Setup-2 but I cannot figure out how to get to that step with this .RAR file. Am i missing something here? What is the next step after downloading it from this page?

OK. Done it. Auto-installer put files in main FOC folder instead FOC/data folder. Now this thing works.
Has anyone figured out the .RAR file issue yet?
He guys first of all great mod really, i only want to ask if the campage is already build in, and my games makes fun of me, or if i have to wait until a new version^^
k found the answer my self, using the correct language helps much in such a case^^ (used english masterfile with a german game, (patchfile is in the state of download^^))
I have installed it all and it works fine, but for some reason on ground battles, even when i am against a hard confederacy AI he only seems to build B1 battle droids, any way to fix this?
ive got the same problem, ive studied it further and found they never tech up or build turrets, or resource pads, or anything, any way to fix this?

I am able to download and open the install doc. but I am unable to download the mod itself. The computer wants to put the mod on a notepad then tells me it is to big for notepad. The install doc is opened with iexplore.exe how do I get it to download correctly so I can find the mod folder?

Okay, so i got it installed and all that and followed the instructions and stuff but when I open the game through the shortcut it brings up The original Forces of Corruption. How do I fix this seeing as I have the Gold Pack CD and didnt use steam to get the game.
I am trying to download 1.1 republic at war but I onlt have the original Empire at war(not forces of Corruption), would I still be able to download republic at war or no?

Have i installde the game wrong? My units have no names, it just say "missing" , factions names to.

Delete the RAW folder in the 'Mods' folder and remove the 'scripts' + 'XML' folder in the C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Data

OK first off it is all written in the readme along with the 1.1 download but for updated install documents go here Moddb.com
Assuming that you have the retail verson of foc (not steam or gold)this is what you should do:
1. Place Mods folder in your foc directory
2. Run Republic_At_War_Setup_2
3.Run RAMFix
4.Run multiplayerPatch.exe
5. Now run the game using the shortcut

If you have installed with a different language other than english, you need to rename your game's master text file.
Navigate to "mastertextfile_english.dat":
Gold Pack Users: "..\Lucasarts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Data\Text"
Steam Users: "..\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Data\Text"
Next, rename the "mastertextfile_english.dat" to the language that you selected at installation.
Examples:

Hey when I download the game I get a word document and when I try to open it, it says that it can't open it because the file is larger than 512 megabytes. Any ides would be appreciated thanks.
