Renegade X is a mod dedicated to recreating C&C Renegade in the new generation engine, the Unreal Engine 3. We all believe the Command and Conquer series is a very special one, and its fans have been following its games for over a decade now. C&C has been one of the most successful videogame series in the RTS Genre. Our modding team believes that C&C Renegade is truly a hidden gem in the FPS genre. C&C Renegade's specialty was its multiplayer mode, because it was not mindless killing like most games. A player was thrown into a battle as soon as he joined a server, in which teamplay was the only way to win. The game revolves around a war between the Global Defense Initiative, and the Brotherhood of Nod. Each faction would have their own base of operations consisting of buildings. A team had to work together to destroy the enemy base, while keeping theirs intact. Obelisk/Advanced Guard Tower (Base defenses) Without these, your team has no automatic defense. Hand of Nod/ Barracks...

Both. Mission first, then SP and MP.
Actually, we're just doing this one mission (6 parts, five to ten minutes each), and then going straight to multiplayer. We won't be doing a full singleplayer with Renegade X.

Apparently, somebody at Totem Arts has been playing too much Crysis - which, in this case, is a GOOD thing - since the whole video seems Crysis-like in terms of graphics. Also, the gameplay looks like a mix between Terminator FPS and, well, C&C: Renegade.
...oh, and if this is sounding negative, rest assured that this comment is supposed to sound POSITIVE because I am simply BLOWN AWAY by the epicness of the teaser video!!! (If only posting the phrase "ME WANTS NAOU!!!" would expedite the release of Renegade X: Black Dawn... ;) )

Well that looks promising indeed.
A little critique; The scene at 0:16 with the Ion cannon satellite, the satellite looked like it moved in a slightly strange way. Though, that might just be because of the position of the camera.
The scene around 0:51, It seemed to my eyes that it also moved in a strange way... Oh well. STILL EPIC!

When is this available? its not on renegadex.com on downloads, only the beta. WHEN I CANT WAIT TO DOWNLOAD IT.
