"Reissues" is a community compilation of 30 single player Half-Life 1 levels authored by a mix of various designers. Each one has created their own unique, self-contained chapter: you'll spelunk into ancient Egyptian tombs, scale mile-high cliff sides, and fight your way through several clever re-imaginings of Black Mesa - among other exciting setpieces! Why did we bother squeezing this last bit of mileage out of a decade-old game engine? Because Half-Life 1 offers a unique feel and aesthetic that makes it a timeless classic; because great gun fights remain great fun fights, even without shiny next-gen graphics; because we love what we do, and we hope you'll love it too.

Fix for the Reissues, Second Wind map (secondwind2.bsp) saving bug - 2nd edition (May 7 2023).
Spanish Translation to Reissues a Half-life Mod / Traducción al castellano de Reissues, Mod de Half-life
Patched and ready to play, full version of Reissues v1.1, for Steam. Mostly some bug fixes (and a troubleshooting section in the Readme)
Download and install this version of Reissues if you are using the original WON version of Half-Life 1 - i.e. not a Steam installation.
Download and install this version if you're going to use the Steam version of Half-Life 1.
I figured out how to fix the Second Wind 2nd map file (secondwind2.bsp). After that the saving/loading will work (and also prevents crashes on some engine versions).

What was the problem:
By the unknown bug in the engine, the filename "gman_nowork.wav" is gradually truncated from the beginning (you can see it in console when loading) and when the filename is completely gone, the saved games are ruined (and on some engines the
game also crashes). This bug is present in HL v1.1.1.0 (and probably all earlier) and all versions of Spirit engine (tested: 1.2, 1.4, 1.8, Spirinity v0.5.0).
Patching the map file to use "gman_nowrk0.wav" and creating a copy with that name in the folder "reissues\sounds\gman" does not help.
If someone founds the buggy code part in the engine, please share it!

It was probably about wrong using of slashes (\ & /) in the file path.
man, it's still so funny that they can't even fixed a single typo but 15 years after the mod came out, somebody fixed it
LMFAO
You are right! I updated the hotfix package. Now the sound file is played correctly (in previous version it was not played). Thanks.
Nice work.
Why the shotgun act like a rocket launcher ?
So actually most of the weapons are mixed up, shotgun acting like rocket launcher and crossbow acting like shotgun. How to fix this ?

Levels are pretty interesting, but bugs and (sometimes) strange level design ideas are making it a bit worse.
May be one of the greatest collabs for HL ever, the maps are top quality.
