I think that this custom story it's amazing. Usually I look only for the gameplay, because i'm bored to read all the notes. Usually the storie are inconsistent and puerile. I loved this mod, and enjoyned to read the story.t

I have been celebrating Red Waters as a milestone in Amnesia modding by performing a live stream about a year ago.
The density of the atmosphere captivated me and my audience completely.
If you are searching for a mod for hpl2, that is not boring for less than a minute, you will be very satisfied with Red Waters.
Now that the Remake with lots of new voice acting, enhanced visuals and new entities has arrived, this wonderful piece of game art is even more worth playing.

An amazing custom story! It's much more a fantasy story rather than a 'realistic' one, but it's very well done. I liked all the mapping, puzzles, scripts and features, especially the torches and candles - they light up a much larger area than they do in the original game and that's what they should work like!
Beside some language mistakes (which I never include in ratings, why would anyone? It's not important as far as players can understand) I was quite annoyed by the repeating jumpscares. The way they're done is the same all along the gameplay. And what's more, they belong to the 'cheap' ones, with that typical jumpscare sound (scream, or whatever that is). That was the only negative.
This is is the weirdest **** i've ever played, nice creativity, it was not bad, but it didn't made any sense to me.
