Description

Since the end of the 2nd Red War, all
hovercraft-related production suffered a big hit
due to the world economic crisis that followed,
thus leading to simpler, wheeled amphibious units
that lacked the high autonomy of the Hovercraft,
meaning that amphibious transport operations were
restricted to in-land areas (lakes, swamps,
rivers) and practically impossible on the sea and
ocean. As for the Hovercraft, this unit made a
stage in the Soviet invasion of the USA that
followed the 2nd Red War, delivering
conscripts and Armour on the field.
Nonetheless, the current amphibious transporter,
the "Castor" can prove very useful in
carrying troops in strategical areas. Also, if a
bridge/bridges linking several important areas are
destroyed, the Castor is your only chance of
carrying important amounts of troops on the other
side.
The Castor will feature a manable machine gun
located in front, on the right side of the
driver's cabin for defensive purposes. As for
how the transportation part'll work,
it's very simple : The position of the
WorldBox will allow you to practically walk on the
vehicle and park your tank on it. You may also
carry a helicopter on it and you can load the
Castor with supply crates.
