I'll be too, only requirement of NPatch is going to make me sick... :-D (+ a mess on the hard disk already) If I make backups of YR, clean some things up, I'll play.
Npatch is not Required, just a lot of the things wont work, like the sidebars. so if you want to try it now now, go for it.
