Recon Guns are specially fabricated variants of the Soviet Sentry Gun Defense. Used exclusively by the Secret Police. Once an Armory has been built. A Secret Police Commander can gain clearance to allow this structure to be built in the heat of battle allowing a savvy Commander to quickly hold up vital choke points or secure an area. The Hasty construction of the Structure does pose some problems as the Gun cannot be repaired on site or can be sold back for scrap.

Anti-Infantry of course. Its basically a Non-Repairable Sentry Gun.
So what the difference between Recon gun and Sentry gun?
Its Essentially a Sentry Gun without the ability to gain promotion. Cannot be repaired and is created by a Support Power.
