The Lagunov Bros Mario & Luigi were once a pair of brothers who both ran a simple Plumbing Business before their eventual drafting into the Mandatory Military Service in the USSR. Mario who had eventually ended up assigned to Demolitions/Explosives Training excelled on creating Improvised Weapons and was almost certain to have been promoted to the Crazy Ivan Corp had it not been for one of his accidents involving powerful psychotropic mushrooms and a scandalous raid on the Females Quarters during his time in the Barracks. Luigi however was instead was sent to the Driver & Manned Vehicles Crew Training. It one infamous incident where an Allied Skirmish to take out their Barracks ended up bring the two brothers together. Luigi on his Messenger Bike & Mario in a Training Exercise on Mortar Weapons. The Two brothers banded together and helped out in defending their barracks from destruction. Mario mounting the Mortar Tube and a handful of his own custom-made Incendiary Shells and Luigi providing mobility with his skills on his bike. Making short work of the would-be invaders the two brothers became overnight heroes and soon saw increased fame as their combined teamwork had made them decorated war heroes. The Lagunov Brothers nowadays are seen supporting the Soviet Army providing much needed morale support and with their skills powerful artillery support. Their Bike which they jokingly call the "Mortar Cycle" is a heavily modified Ural Motorcycle Outfitted with a Mortar Tube and a modest amount of reinforced plating. Mario manning the Mortar Tube with his signature "Fire Flower" Shells and Luigi his skll on the Bike have proven so often that the Two Brothers are no slouch in combat.
