This is a mod for RA3, not Uprising. If I recall, you can't mod Uprising anyway.

ha! iF I recall - only a small portion of owners can get uprising to run properly anyway!
I hear that downloading this mod will be a good alternative to purchasing and having trouble with uprising. i hope its true.i track this mod and recieve news of updates regularly.thanks,and keep up the good work guys KJ

Uprising was a mod in itself (+ co-commanders and cinematics) hence the Upheaval mod which did Uprising's maps and units.

Hi I'm new here. This seems like this is going to be a good mod. One question though. Shouldn't all the factions have air transport units? I understand that FT gets the best transport but it seems like maybe the UC assault chopper should have at leats 1 or 2 infantry slots and the CS Ameratsu (or some other aircraft) should have transportation capabilities? This would allow for more options in worldbuilding for more intense gameplay but then again, I nothing about coding. Thanks for the good work so far guys!

Thanks for your comments. We purposely don't have the same units in each faction to vary the gameplay and to add strengths and weaknesses to each faction. One faction may be stronger in air, but one may be stronger in anti-air etc. I thinking is that if you have the same type of unit on every faction, you might as well have one faction instead of three. Hope that makes sense.

If I recall, in RA3, both the Allied and the Soviet forces have air transport but the Japan faction don't.

The ERS did have transforming Mechs to compensate though. I get what you're saying about faction balancing and differation but I believed that this can be achieved without drastically altering a classic RTS concept such as unit transportation. The vanilla game had mechs for the ERS, paratrooping and Chronotech for the Allies and Twinblades for the Soviets. The absolute beauty about a Universe as nutty as RA3's is that such things can be done creatively (and often humorously) while keeping in mind balance (For example, from what I'm gathering FT's strengths are air units and rapid deployment).

On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, will there be protocols with this mod either upon beta release or in a later patch/upgrade?

There will be protocals, although only some of these have been designed so far.
