I think the IBV needs to be slightly larger when looking at it in comparison to the other two units.

I dunno there is something about the perspective, because eventho those other 2 vehs (penetrators) do look abit large, the IBV still loox nearly as big as the power plant and nearly as large as that other structure between pwr plants..
Say, why are 2 transport vehs needed, seeing as the IBV is an unarmed transport and penetrator is an armed transport .. UNLESS the IBV (which it loox capable of) can cross water!! ;)

Ok. So, here's the difference.

The Penetrator is the main transport of the coalition. It can carry up to five infantry, but the infantry can not fire out of the transport. It is also armed with a railgun for protection, and it is amphibious. (Similar to the Allies' Riptide)

Think as the Infantry Battle Vehicle like a mobile bunker. Units inside it have the luxury of protection, and the means to fire their weapons. However, due to it's weight, the IBV is not amphibious.

Ok Thanx for the explanation but as a matter of being amphibious, weight isnt actually the issue speaking realistically as there are huge ships of over 100,000 tons that float nicely :p I am not sure of any land-based vehicle of any kind that is heavier than 14,500 tons (31 million pounds).
Anyway it will be nice to still have them both ingame!

Ha! Realwar got there first, I've just written two para's saying the same thing. Like he said, we don't really have two transports because the IBV isn't meant for infantry transport (it's too slow for that). The IBV is a heavy infantry support vehicle which is used to enhance the durability of infantry like a bunker to support other tanks during battle.

We may reduce the size of the other two units, based on what you say, because there isn't much more space for the IBV to get out through the doors of the war factory!
