Red Alert 3 - Unleashed is set 26 years after Uprising. A total conversion of Red Alert 3, it will include 3 totally new factions with all new units, buildings and powers.
Using enhanced dual tesla technology, this advanced base defence can either be left to frazzle your victims, or using sycronised rotorary motion, produce double the spark for short periods.
That's going to be very painful, I reckon.
lol
Oh cool :D
nice
nice idea but,
is it pre built, or is it an upgrade?
Prebuilt. The difference (which doesn't show very well in a stationary image) is that in secondary mode the smaller sphere has electricity constantly flowing over it's surface. It constantly rotates around the main sphere in both modes. Not too sure how the double spark will work, whether this means that firing rate is slowed while it's charge is twice as powerful. The secondary has a cooldown time too, so can't be used constantly.
sounds... strange... but well see, maybe its quiet cool, and btw, how long should the CD be? i rarely attack my opponent and most time i just defend myself and finish my opponent with a single, devasting attack,... maybe you should just make that the secondary mode is permanent activable, but increase the energy cost (for example from 75 to 100) of the coil.
That does sound like a good idea to increase the power for the secondary instead of making it last for a few seconds to minutes, but it may mess up the balance.
simple yet effective
Does the second ball have a rotating animation around the main one?
Awesome! If I get it right its secondary is somewhat similar to tesla coil form RA1, when it fired less powerfull (but still lethal to soldiers) bolts twice on infantry, but uncharged fully on armored targets. Except it was done automatically, but here youll have to switch fire modes manually.
O.o I cannot remember it doing that, really. On the other hand, I have not played for a long time.
Yeah, first Tesla coils were capable of killing 2 infantry units with no charge time between shots. Unlike RA2\RA3 ones.
This is very nice!
Can it still fire over walls? Now I mention it, are there walls in Unleashed?
Cute XD
Sizalazing!
Love it :D Great way to make the game's most iconic base defense even cooler.
