Wow, pretty rad. I could imagine this turning into some kind of stationary bunker for a defense bonus, too, like a reckoner. Thought I'd throw it out there, even though it's not supposed to be like that.

you know, it looks more like a structure to me. Is that its mobile form? Because that thing doesn't look like it can move an inch.

It's really slow, much slower than a Apoc tank.

I loved the concept art but somehow, this model doesn't seem to have the same effect on me. It's nice but I don't know, maybe it could be a bit less shaped like square/cube and be more elongated?

I've made some minor changes to the proporations, including making it a little longer and thinner, plus reducing its height and extending the front - see updated image above.

Heh, it does look abit like a barracks :p Does it have any animation ?
You didnt mention armor strength but w/ it being really slow, is it that much of an advantage to being able to crush smaller units ? Most units can attack from a distance and by the time this thing could get near them to crush, those units could be moved away quickly and all the while the IBV is still taking damage, so unless units get really close & hold position or are unmonitored, then the crush ability wouldnt see much use IMO..
It could still have this function as more of a secondary but I was thinking, what about some defensive weapons, atleast a chain gun that could also shoot aircraft or maybe make AA an upgrade .. Most transports seem to have some kind of defensive weapons, machine or minigun, small turret etc ..

Basically this is a RA3 version of the Battle Fortress. If you play RA2 the Battle Fortress was a slow moving unit and still had the ability to crush units. It's not so much an "ability" as a side effect of the unit being large. The secondary ability is to deploy the men inside.

Ok w/ that in mind I guess it will have heavy armor and infantry can shoot from inside ?
You know, it sohhh looks like it wants to unpack into something, like the battle base!

Yep, and I got the coding "partly" working, just need some tweaks.

Description

The Infantry Battle Vehicle (IBV) is the big brother of the IFV. Capable of crushing smaller units and holding up to 4 infantry, this monster makes a formidable unit against even larger armies. Concept by James Richards.
