Red Alert 3: Revolution's main goal is to provide a more in-depth Red Alert 3 experience, whilst retaining both the unique art style and core gameplay that made Red Alert 3 so enjoyable. The faction diversity that Red Alert 3 provided has been further built on and expanded, with each faction being able to channel their particular strengths with new, updated sets of upgrade protocols. From the Allies' 'Proton Beam Capacitors' upgrade, to the Soviet’s 'Electrostatic Flak' upgrade, you can be sure that the outcome of games will be less decided by who spams the most units, and more on who spends their Security Points the wisest. This mod also aims to enhance the unit graphics, particle systems, weapon effects and visuals throughout the game. Numerous bug fixes, as well as improved sound effects covering everything from unit weapons and explosions, to unit movement and ambient noises will offer Revolution players a Red Alert 3 experience like no other.
Empire Instant Generators can now be individually upgraded to provide 50% more power. Available to research after constructing a Nanotech Mainframe.
nice but I think you should reduce the price a bit,you can get 0 more power by not getting the upgrade and build another generator with a mere extra 300
Hmm, good point. I may reduce the price down to $400, as that's half the price of an Instant Generator.
If you make it 400,it would be really good since it is also half the time but also half the health (2 generators in total have more health than 1 generator upgraded)
and if you lose one of 2, you lose 50 % of your energy, you lose 1 with upgrade, you lose all your power
I always wanted to see the empire's generator having an power upgrade like GDI powerplant! So TX1138, does the upgraded generators looks like its exposing the three cyan power cores while the un-upgraded generator looks like its holding the three cores inside? or look like usual but the upgraded version looks like the one in the pic? (Just a thought...)
Yeah, pretty much the only change is a slightly texture change + greenish effects. Given that I'm quite restricted in modifying the art assets, this was the best compromise :P
wow...
it's preety good i usually build a fortified base with a lot of defences so i need some extra power...
muahahahahahahaha
