Red Alert 3: Revolution's main goal is to provide a more in-depth Red Alert 3 experience, whilst retaining both the unique art style and core gameplay that made Red Alert 3 so enjoyable. The faction diversity that Red Alert 3 provided has been further built on and expanded, with each faction being able to channel their particular strengths with new, updated sets of upgrade protocols. From the Allies' 'Proton Beam Capacitors' upgrade, to the Soviet’s 'Electrostatic Flak' upgrade, you can be sure that the outcome of games will be less decided by who spams the most units, and more on who spends their Security Points the wisest. This mod also aims to enhance the unit graphics, particle systems, weapon effects and visuals throughout the game. Numerous bug fixes, as well as improved sound effects covering everything from unit weapons and explosions, to unit movement and ambient noises will offer Revolution players a Red Alert 3 experience like no other.

The idea sounds pretty creative. Really looking forward to release.

For the two icons, maybe little change the red color, the orange would be... too contrast in it, than it would be it.

The Transformers icon has the same orange-red shade as the Defense Drones icon, and the Wave-Force icon has the same pinkish-red shade as the Fortified Fleet icon.

Just a suggestion, how about making the transformer upgrade button give us Optimus Prime :P

Anyway, you did a better work in making the new protocols blend with the original, unlike another mod where they dont bother about that...

So, great work :) Also for Allied and Soviet protocols :)

Well I do think that the mecha tengu icon should have a light orange tint to it but otherwise it looks fabulous.

Am I the only person who thinks "honorable discharge" should be changed that it doesn't suck as hard?
Maybe make it an upgrade for the Yari and the Burst Drone to deliver an EMP, or let the Imperial warriors trigger an (actual) explosion when they die with their swords drawn which knocks down surrounding enemy infantry? (maybe both?)
Alternatively it could be replaced by an entirely different protocol, few suggestions:
- Nanite-enhanced Attacks: Tsunami tanks, Archer Maidens and Steel Ronin deal additional damage over time
- Supercharged Nanocells: Tsunami tanks can shoot while their Nano-deflectors are active
- Supra-Cells: Non-defense structures consume less/no power (probably only as last or second to last protocol though)
- Surveillance Master: Radar stays active even when no Building Yard is set up or you are on low power mode

Also I kinda hoped the weapon upgrades would make slight changes to the model and the armored fleet upg for the tsunami looks weird (too much red imo), but hey can't have everything.

And last point (which got deleted when i added the suggestions for alternate protocols):
The japanese Wave-Force technology seems to project kinetic energy (akin to Cyclops from the X-Men in some incarnations).
Nanites can't really do much to upgrade those. Maybe rename the protocol to "Wave-Force Focalization" or something like that.
(I know. We got giant robots as large as buildings so realism is a bit out of the window, but leave me poor nerd alone :( )

Aside of that I absolutely enjoy this mod, especially the slight changes to the unit/building skins to make it look less like a plastic toy collection sim.

Description

As of v1.1.

The 'Advanced Transformers' upgrade protocol replaces Emperor's Rage Level 2. This upgrade equips transforming units with improved transformers that decrease cool-down periods.

Thanks to has199 for the original idea.
