It is summer, 1969. The Third Great World War has come to a close, the world's armies exhausted, her nations devastated by a year of the deadliest warfare in the history of Humankind. The Allied Nations, the Soviet Union and the Empire of the Rising Sun have entered an uneasy ceasefire, and for the first time in more than a decade it seems that there may be a chance for peace to return to a war-torn world.
Yet one does not meddle with time without consequence, as the war is only truly beginning, and the world was just beginning to see the effects of the Paradox...

I remember back when they first release the confederates, was nice being able to play a team like the original ra1 allies team and see them actually able to stack up against the 3 vanilla factions. This in a way was enough for me to happy with the mod. I have always been a huge fan of rts with tons of factions, rather have tons of factions then tons of units on 3 teams, so when I saw all the teams they had slated I was estatic to say the least. But I always had that nagging feeling they were biting off more then they could chew, being a little to overly ambitious and posts at the time seemed to share the thought. I like most just ignored it and hoped for the best and its sad to see it die. Hopefully we will still see the yuri mod and the RA2 converstion mods some day. Better yet hopefully someone will finish this, or take assets and start their own multiple new factions.

Oh well, y'all tried your best at molding something special out of a stubbornly fixed engine. The heart and effort put into it is what counts in the end.

It's a shame really, this mod was going to make me buy RA3 when it was released. But now...

I don't doubt that we will see it someday but life doesn't exactly wait for these sorts of things.

I'm sure that Paradox will eventually awaken (hopefully not when pigs fly), but it's been damn-near 10 months since anything's changed on Paradox, or it's wiki, unless Arcus removes the updates made, which kinda grinds my gears a little.

It's on the top shelf, within reach but just standing there for now. The mod people need to get some form of income to support it. Hence bloodcrusher.

One of the best things with Paradox is the extraordinary realationship between the followers and the devs, the devs give you an insight in each step of the developement. Heck, they even a suggestion page, (with actually alot accepted suggestions, though not in percentage). And ofcourse, gotta love the old C&C Nostalgia mixed with total new stuff. The mod itself have a large potential, though the final release is far far away in time and space, they have done alot to. The gameplay and units are…
