An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.
Two new units went ingame today, and I daresay they are some of the most fun yet! The Katyusha is an unusually nimble artillery piece which can shoot and scoot with unparalleled ease, while the Grenadier lays down sheets of smoke to protect friendlies, knocks infantry around with explosives, and destroys light vehicles!
GRENADE!!!
FRAG OUT!!!
SSSSSEEEEEEEEEMMMMMMTTTEEEEEEEEEEEXXXXXXXX!!!!!
Grenadiers means something along the line of specialized soldier in this case.
Sorry no grenades today
...waht... no mindless spamming of high ordinance weaponry? aiding your allies? no self inflicted damage?
how unsoviet
Call of Duty?
Does this mean that the Grenadier will be the first animated, textured and programmed infantry included in a Paradox release? If so, I'm really looking forward to it!
Masmune Drone, The first completely New and original Infantry to be animated in A red alert 3 mod.
not rly
Key words: "INCLUDED in a paradox release". The Masamune has not been included in any release yet, to my knowledge.
okay)
Achievement Unlocked!
Were Katyushas really very combat effective? I've heard mixed opinions.
Historical-wise or what?
yeah they were effective artillery that when firing its rockets made an unforgettable sound that will haunt you if you're in the target area.
So... It's RPG Troopers not Frag Grenadiers.
I believe that was always the plan.
front window looks to... idk, wierd.
excelent addition
Their faces look like the Poker Face meme XD
Those Grenadier moustaches aren't epic enough.
Do the grenadiers throw... RPGs?
Think of it like the Germans, Volksgrenadiers, Panzergrenadiers and grenadiers! They were infantry types, had nothing to do with grenades, even though they surely had some!
