An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.
This is the untextured Confederate base, without normal maps obviously. From left to right, the Radar Dome, Barracks, War Factory, Pillbox, PAWI Tower, Service Pad, Turret, Power Plant, Helipad, and Refinery.
nothing textured yet? anyway I`d like to see a unit(like, the Beagle tank, for example) in-game, even if it "acts" like a guardian tank.
We're trying but exams locked most of the team down for a little while. We're aiming to have the microwave tank ingame very shortly. As for textures, several of those buildings are textured but we wanted to show them all off as just their models for now.
Great models:)
awesome
Haha, red alert 1, looks nice, good one
Ahh, Red alert 1 rocks ^^
Pawi tower is something like "Gap generator"?
Somewhat, though it projects a field of actual invisibility rather than shroud.
whats that building between the Warfactory and Refinery? near the service pad? or is that part of the service pad?
Yes it is. The Service Pad now builds vehicles so it needs a structure to deploy them from.
Its coming out looking pretty good so far, can't wait for alpha to come out.
Personally, I think Helipad could use some re-design. Yeah, the RA1 looks pretty good, but compared to other Confederate structures, it looks kinda bland, although, well, it is a "Pad", yeah.
The Refinery: It occupies the same area as other factions' refineries, correct?
All the other structures is pure ownage, though I think the defences could be scaled up a little.
The scale of the buildings is irrelevant; it's coded in, not made in the models. They will be of the correct size ingame.
The Refinery may not actually be the same size as the other ones due to it's shape. We will ensure it locks into position correctly however.
The Helipad is going to get a windsock next to it, but I wasn't sure how to make it for proper animation so it was left off. It's supposed to be small and unassuming as you'll be placing them around the map to annoy the enemy (placing down a group of them around a PAWI Tower will be pretty much one of the best bastard strategies you can pull.)
oh it is same as RA1 allies army.. good to see you again~
Nice. Good old RA1 :)
Very nice base once its textured im sure itll be even better... :D
It's a bit weird having a tank shooting at a tent-barracks, but ok...
well it`s also weird having infantry shooting at solid structures, but it is possible.
its a bit werid how there 50 foot tall giant mechs destroying complete bases! its red alert 3 not real life get over it
That'd make a great slogan - "Red Alert 3, It's a bit weird."
oldie RA is come back!
RA 1?
Why America has all this old Allied tech just lying around is beyond me :D
Since their American shouldn't they have RA2 units too? They should have Tier 1 be like RA1, Tier 2 be RA2, and Tier 3 their own designs.
I understand they don't have a tier system so to speak, so I'll just have to make my own mod I guess :D
RA2 never happened in Paradox (in fact, it's not even 1972 yet!) the old Allied tech was kept in America because it they had the space for the Boneyard (where all this tech was kept), unlike smaller European countries.
