An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.
In-game, the Barkhausen is best used against groups of smaller enemy aircraft, like swarms of helicopters or Tengu. It's anti-air attack cannot deal damage against heavier air targets like Kirov for too long because of the heat limit, but if you're willing to take damage, or have immediate access to repairs, firing past overheat levels will usually down heavy aircraft fairly quickly.

Looks pretty cool, but kinda bulky, it looks like a... box.
Science leaves no room for aesthetics! All there is room for is shinyness and complexity.
Also, it's supposed to look sort of boxy. The only useful part of the vehicle is the microwave array, so why bother messing with the rest of it?
well the microwave emmiter looks cool.
******* nice :D
For which faction it is? :)
Preety nice anyway ^^
Allied, tier 4 anti-air.
Nice model
pretty cool,
Oh Decent a tier 4 anti air? must beat down more then a group of bullfrogs can? alot of bullfrogs can beat down pretty damn near anything..
Basically, one of these vehicles can effectively strike a whole squadron of enemy planes at the same time; rather than firing one shot, it hits a radius above it. It's not the greatest for killing individual heavy air units like Kirovs, Starspirits or Flying Junks, but it's absolute murder against Twinblade swarms, Vindicator runs or masses of Tengu.

A trend is emerging here - good textures on rather average models. The WWSkin modifier surely means that you can turn some of that panelling on the main box section into geometry, as opposed to painting it on purely as a texture.
There is only so much bump mapping can do.
I think your missing the point. If you have these models with higher polies, we may have a performance hit. We are conserving how many polies we use for now until we receive the SDK from EA.
Besides, that is the actual design for the tank, what more do you want?

Oh, and for the record, it's called box modeling. It's a technique most modelers use. :)
no offence, but it looks like a box on treads w/ a satilite...
kinda like that news van parked outside my house that has CIA writen on it (im in canada...) anyway, back to the veicle, u need to redisign it, make the body more like that of a mirage
Nope. It looks exactly how it supposed to look. A box. With treads. Also, an emitter array thingy. Why bother prettying it up? This is science, not art! Kinda! Maybe.
The basic idea has always been a van with a radar dish on top. The tracks were added for a more military feel.
I don't care about the model's look, but work on the textures since they feel out of place...
