An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

Who do you think is the better faction? Imo, I think the Vietcong is better, they have more diverse units, and the ability to slowly wipe away at the slower ARVN units. Though, I am more exited to see ARVN, because we finally get to see allied paratroopers. As for the third polling option: Wiki.paradoxmod.com |

ARVN for me, because I don't like skulking around in the bushes. I prefer flying above them! -- |

I'm not sure either faction is better. I can say that the Vietcong are better suited to my playstyle, but ARVN has a technological advantage. -- Efficiency is the essence of warfare. |

ARVN! What do we burn other than VC? More VC! -- Yours faithfully, That guy who does hammy stuff on a regular basis. |

Actually, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until after Apoc to see the Pathfinders. Though I really want to make the models; they have really cool uniforms and the Pathfinder has an insanely awesome night-vision scope. Edited by: open_sketchbook |

I thought the ARVN defenders were the same as the allied pathfinders, with different outfits? |

No. They are quite unique. They were going to be the same as the reservist defenders but we went for something a little different instead. |

Both are just as interesting. -- >.< |

ARVN. It's incredibly satisfying to root out something stealthed or hidden on the battlefield, and that is what the ARVN is designed for. |

Vietcong have units that are both extremely light and heavy whilst ARVN are the all rounders/flexible guys. ARVN is gonna eat everything! EVERYTHING! |

The ARVN can move infantry around with copters, but the vietcong can run around and skirmish very effectively, and for the heavier work, they can just use a mammoth tank. |
||
Mar 17 2011 Anchor | ||
Yea but copters ignore terrain |

The vietcong have migs, too. In my opinion, it is more about choices when dealing with simpler warfare (one where ground factor is also economic factor). Also, mammoth tank ftw. Edited by: g.a |
