An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

Is it possible to use and implement a dynamic campaign into ra3? So that when you complete an optional objective in a mission, it could result in changes in the next mission, or a completely different mission?

Also, can you include a map when in combat briefing to show who controls what, and why they or you are attacking?

or 2 primary objectives with both consequences and benefits which will open or close mission e.g As empire crush Soviet invasion or crush the allies's base and betray them, regain your 'honour' and gain veteran empire units Allies as your enemy and a ceasefire with soviets or continue the hard push against the soviets and gain continual Allies AI support.

I have to say that I like this, but only for the final mission, like GDI in C&C 3.

It is, sadly, impossible to reference another mission in RA3. The campaign paths are static paths of missions.

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call The Twilight Zone

well then make the newer ones refrence eachother.

also? would it be possible to have regualar updates about the world situation. becuse in regualr RA3 it kinda seems like you are wadgeing a one man war on two opponents. it wuld be cool to get an update on your nation and how other factions battles are going. giveing an indepth look at the world we are distroying

What about making each campaign downloadable and replaceable?
Example: I am playing the allies, and I made a large decision (like destroying an entire faction), instead of another campaign map, there will be a picture(or video) instructing me to go to paradox on modb and download the appropriate package. Which overwrite the allied missions and videos (but not the other campaign missions). This, of course, restricts the dynamics of the campaign to bigger changes, like killing off an entire faction, but that's another question.

IMO we should return to this discussion when the campaign is to be coded. If they have to do things like g.a posted, like giving out passwords to mission downloads like I've imagined that they have to do for some reason, they might as well do a few alternate versions if they want to. If they can use a smoother way, by inserting every mission in-game directly and referencing them to each other, they should use that.

Hasn't there already been a campaign storyboard though?

That seems useless, as people would just download them anyway.

Yes, I believe its called Sketch's brain. Most of the team only knows extremely tiny bits of it.

I think so, but in that case this thread is moot anyways. And honestly, there is enough time for things to be reviewed and changed - the campaign probably won't be out before I graduate. (AKA summer 2013)

Heck, it probably won't be out till I graduate High School in 2014. I envision by then, the AKoC and Talon would be close to done, and Syndicate and Protectorate stuff will come out every now and again.

I'm guessing by then, ra4 will be out, and the team will be struggling to port paradox to the RNA2 engine. Also, we will all have flying cars that shoot lasers. (they don't shoot lasers like a laser gun, they have guns that attack lasers.) And we will all have cyber-dogs that shoot nukes, furthermore, the allied military would have finally created the Soviet Atomic BLOODRUINER tank.

*Creates new thread to avoid going off topic*

It probably won't be out until many of Team Paradox have bred.

As for the campaign itself, I believe Sketch said somewhere he even has the maps prepared for each mission, where the lines are in the world, and more.
