Just Rules aims at increasing the strategic options in RA3. It includes things like a more balanced upgrade system, revised protocols and build limits on each unit design to discourage spamming and encourage diverse unit formations and strategies.

so whats this mod about?
Balance, visuals and other effects (like crates) at the moment. When I get all of this squared away I will add sub-factions. By that time I hope the AI editing is fixed or I have a decent amount of people to beta test.

Liked the shield better... I keep getting the vibe "those units are EMP'ed". Still, EA's version with the drones was retarded. The shield alone, without the flying gizmos, would have been better.
This thing is very much superior in one way though, and that is that the shield is the appropriate size, instead of only covering a small part of the largest units, such as Shogun Battleship, Dreadnought, etc. That always bugged me.
The shield had another problem too. Somethings it would disappear when units were moving :s I may still have a use of it however.
