A secretive company by the name of Recombinant Incorporated invites Gordon Freeman to tour their Combine Re-purposing facility. Unfortunately, things quickly go awry when RI's behavior modification system malfunctions and releases hundreds of rogue Recombinant Soldiers.
To tell the difference between normal Combine soldiers and Recombinant Soldiers, RI outfits each of their creations with a green and tan suit. This initial screenshot shows a normal Combine soldier on the left, and a Recombinant Soldier on the right. Recombinant Soldiers also wear a patch on their left shoulder. The patch has been changed since this shot was taken, however.
This is a VERY early concept. The texture might be changed some time in the future.
