Enter Sanctuary, a world of disorder and chaos as the mighty Diablo has been raised again. But wait...you've heard that all before, right? Think again. In this runaround, there's only three options - Fight, Flight, or Plight as your enemies work harder to defeat you, with new abilities to help protect the Prime Evils.

But on the flip side, you have new equipment to help battle your stronger foes, and have new talents learned. Deciding its not enough, you can also get a second, or third, or fourth job in addition to your questing and whatnot. The Horadrim are also on your side, granting the cube a new ability - Cube Level. Rare items are made here.

Enough talk. This world needs saving.

Here are some new features of the mod


  • Skills have been totally redone. Useless skills have been changed, improved or synergized.
  • New skills such as Bloody Brocade, Zombie Wall, Sub-Zero, Comet Strike and Spiritbloom.
  • Rebalanced skills. Melee does high damage, Ranged does medium damage and magic does light damage


  • Maximum level cap has been raised to 150.
  • New starting character stats
  • New starting weapons
  • New starting skills on a few items

Horadric Cube

  • Tackle up to ten professions, plus an overall Cube Level.
  • Apply poisons, oils and more
  • Upgrade runes two ways -> 3 runes = higher rune, or 1 rune + Rune Upgrading scroll = higher rune
  • Create customized gear
  • Add sockets to unique items
  • Cook, bake, broil, and deep-fry a wide variety of dishes
  • Craft precious rings
  • Summon monsters using the Cube


  • 225+ Unique items
  • 200 new Runewords
  • 15 new gem types (Total of 75 new runes)
  • 20 new runes
  • 22 new sets
  • 122 new Magic Prefixes and 121 new Magic Suffixes, for a total of 7,103,781,014 possible combinations for magic prefixes/suffixes.
  • Socketed Rings, Amulets, Gloves, Boots, Belts, Charms, Bolts and Arrows.
  • Enhanced gem effects


  • 4 new dungeons as of September 24th: Faith Cathedral (wip), Fire Maggot Lair, Circle of Elements, and the Caves.
  • Existing areas have been repopulated
  • Existing areas can spawn up to 10 different monsters at once
  • Redid density rate for less mobs


  • Melee does most damage, Ranged does middle, and Magic does light damage
  • Treasure is hard to find, but more powerful
  • Monsters have new abilities such as Meteor and Blaze.
  • Hirelings have new abilities and are not quite as powerful
  • Vendors do not sell potions, you must find them in the field.


  • Potions are now named differently and come in 3 tiers instead of 5.
  • Expanded Inventory

No. The pictured stuff is available in the next version, 0.06, it is just a teaser for 0.06. You can sign up for 0.06 open beta, I still need 2 testers.

Place the entire folder in your Diablo II directory, then install the hotfix files over top of it and run the .vbs, then you'll be ready to go.

Because I really wona play Necro, but I can't get to lvl 2 before I get owned...

Or is it to hard to get so you can choose Easy, Normal, Hard, Nightmare on the start?

The difficulty of the game is not based on the character class per se. The real reason why it is harder to use Necro/Sorc is because Necro/Sorc are significantly weaker in game start than say a Barbarian or a Druid.

Initially this was to prevent noobs with half a brain from going "hurr de hurr hurr, let's make a sorc and run through the game spamming <insert skill here>! hurr de hurr hurr". But in the long run this proves difficult for people who just want to see what its like to play the game as these two character classes.

I have two options on how to fix this problem.

A) Give Necro a sword with Raise Skeleton on it, and give Sorc an orb or something with a + to a decent skill.

B) Increase Teeth/Charged Bolt power so that they are more powerful.

I would go for A. Because right now you get killed on 2-4 hits and can use teeth thing 4 times and that's not enough to kill a enemy so I run in and out to get refuel of mana and life...

Just to get to lvl 2 so I can get summon skeleton. but after 1 hour I got bored and saw I had 259/500 So I quit and made this post.
