Is a global mod in a single complete package that aims to provide an evolutionary enhancement of the single most atmospheric game of 2007, if not ever, Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. Almost all aspects of the gameplay have been re-balanced to be fair, fun, deadly and a redefinition of your ultimate Stalker experience.
This mod enhances the retail version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl through improved; graphics, sound, balance, AI/A-life, day/night weather, weapon ballistics, ragdolls, quests, trading, unique items, text/interaction, interactivity, artifacts, health & sleep system, options, hidden secrets and bug fixes. It's hard to explain, but now the game simply feels smooth, like it never has before.
This is a well refined and tested mod that the team has been developing and improving on in one form or another since Stalker's first release in 2007. Over that time many pages of user feedback have gone into polishing it's many builds and iterations with the last major release being out since January 2009 and the next build has undergone many more improvements, tweaks and implementations that have totally improved upon the end product since then.
You will not be disappointed with S.T.A.L.K.E.R .Rebalanced. v1.2 when it is released shortly, just check out the latest incredible screen shots below!

An Evolution in Stalker Gameplay
Work on a public release of the v1.2 beta is still underway. There are many balancing, game-play, tweaks and general bug fixes that are currently being ironed out. No major or ambitious changes are being planned before this next release. Things are looking very good at the moment for this project.
its been a long time
but i am now feeling inspired to once again finish this project that has consumed so much of my life already. It is still far from my imagined final mod, but it is currently in a very good state of play, and far superior to any previous releases.
is it now a rather dated project?
Maybe it is, but it is still a quality project nonetheless tho. But since i've been away so long, I will be looking at updating to the latest versions of the Zone Reclamation Project (ZRP), Stalker Weather Overhaul (SWO) and the latest in Shader Pack technology. This mod will still stand at least equal amogst the community.
I look forward to your feedback and valued input.
Regards, Storm Shadow.
1. As per NatVac's post here:
ZRP - A joint effort in fixing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

I will be updating to latest ZRP prior to release. Therefore I will be pushing the release date 1 month to the right.

Any news happening?
With Misery coming out with 2.0 next month, I've been getting an itch to play through STALKER again with the new mods coming out, and I was hoping this would be the one for SOC.
Please tell me it'll come out in time. Would be nice. :)
Hi.
I've been aiming for a release this month and am looking quite good. Have been spending a lot of time with lots of little/tedious bug fixes, polish and tweaks that I had been putting off for a while. Will soon be able to conduct my final play-through test.
Once i've finished that, i will then decide if i want to integrate the latest version of ZRP.
I havn't really been releasing much screen-shots recently, as im only working on a laptop at the mo.
good to have u back
waiting...
your wait will be worth it!
Release date now planned for Aug 2012 :D
I am currently in final stages of development. There are not many more features to be implemented before the final balancing act can be completed.
Once I'm happy with my final play through to test balance, I will then have to decide if I'm going to upgrade the ZRP component of this mod before next release (it's currently running ZRP 1.05 r10, and the latest version is ZRP 1.07 r3).
Your thoughts welcome, Shadow.
Well, more bug fixes are always nice. As long as you don't think it might screw up anything you have working, I don't see any reason why not to upgrade ZRP.
Nice to know you're almost done with this thing. Can't wait to see what you've been doing these last few years.
Thnx man.
The reason for the debate is; would you rather have the mod out sooner, or wait much longer for the latest ZRP to be integrated. As it will be quite a workload to merge it all in.
But, after reading about the features of the latest ZRP, I think I like the sound of all the new improvements here:

:) Shadow
I'm also for it. although my anticipation is big. what do you think how long it'll take?
i can't really answer that with any accuracy. It could take a while, depending on how smooth or how complicated the merge is. But i've merged full ZRP versions in before (v1.05 r11 being the last).
its mainly to do with lots of comparing the code to see whats best for Reb and lots of testing along the way. takes time.
