At the beginning I though, that it will be some sort of defense platform xP But probe... it could be ;]
i love the design very well detailed. if only i could texture like this. wish i could give help to this mod.

Cool, if I may suggest that thing could maybe work like the defense fighter in HW by shooting down projectiles.
It has been suggested to give this thing a special defensive ability once before. And this is a Nassar product, it's supposed to survive a bit more, so yes, I think something like that is pretty possible.

A little too heavy on the photoshop I think. I like what you did for the texture on the inside of the panels.
Yeah, there is a bit too much Photoshop editing, but I couldn't help myself. And the picture does its job well, so why not.

well.... is it me or is the probe awsomer then the battle nassar ships? :P
Even though this is really a render, which adds a lot, it's not just you, the Frigates are now a bit left behind in the quality... It has to be fixed, just a few touches in the texture, but they need it now.

Hi! I don't check my old pictures all that often, I didn't notice earlier. Thanks. (To be honest I look forward to the completed Research Station as well. From practical reasons, it's hanging there unfinished for way longer than it should.)
At first I thought this was some form of hull-breaker missile O_o
Turns out to be just a probe (false alarm guys, lay down the red alert!)
