This Patch/Addon fixes a lot of bugs and typos, improves game mechanics, increases realism, rebalances all weapons and adds 47 new weapons and 3 new ammo types. Ammunition has been completely reworked so that Damage, Effective Range, Armor Penetration, Weight and Pricing reflect real life. All guns are more realistic and perfectly balanced. The ACTUAL ACCURACY of each gun has been added to the weapon description, among other useful info (weapon class, restrictions). The guard mode works more reliably, the accuracy penalty for standing/crouching stance has been reworked and mercs can get more levelups before they reach the levelcap. Traders have much more items for sale (weapons, pants, boots). Many errors have been corrected (eg Ak47 is using 7.62mm instead of 5.45mm).

i havent tried any other mods, so i cant comment on that. But i heard those two mods make the game really hard by increasing amount of enemies and enemy level, and making the AI more aggressive.
My goal was not to create an "ultra hard mode" for hardcore fans or to provide a completely new game experience.
My aim was to fix all the annoying flaws (bugs, typos, misleading descriptions), make the weapons and stances more realistic and to make the game more enjoyable - without changing the actual gameplay. With this mod installed you will still be playing JA:BiA. Being able to use your DLC weapons in the normal campaign is a nice bonus.
