And this is why America should stop investing in aircraft xD

loool, I will code flares to fire for every HQ9 missile and will have flares fire further away from the aircraft. Also I made ECM work only 1% of the time in this video as its scattering the missiles to the ground and that looks bad. Check this video for proper ECM: Moddb.com. This is caused by the high maxthrustangle in the HQ9 missile locomotor. When the locomotor is fixed and ECM/Flares are operating at their full potential, things will get balanced. Furthermore, these launchers will be expensive, and they are bought one launcher at a time. Moreover, as you know our maps are much bigger than this and I hope the SAM range will fit in well. A funny thing is that I used a patriot radar to detect targets for those HQ9 missiles!

That's where Americas achilees heel lies in is air superiority and technology. Their over-reliance on technology and air superiority will be their bane.

The problem is that Russia and China have learned to overcome Americas strengths a long time ago and have developed the perfect countermeasures. That's not even talking about the dense and highly advanced air defense networks both Russia and China have.

Do you mean DRFM countermeasures?
yes over reliance on technology is a problem. Also they need about 700 raptors to replace the aging F-15C's which are becoming increasingly rusty (starting to show airframe problems). Given that there are only 180 raptors which in my opinion need at least about 2 to 3 years to become more stable (have less problems) and the same thing applies to the F-35 program. This will give Russia and China sufficient time to prepare their 5th generation fighters and catch up. The advantage might be gone soon.

China and Russia have developed all kinds of countermeasures and anti-access technologies against NATO/US and their Achilles heel.

The US primarily depends on its carrier battle groups to enforce and maintain sea-lanes but China's counter to it is the DF-21D ASBM.

America also relies heavily upon its satellite for intelligence gathering and situation awareness. China and Russia have proven to counter it through the use and deployment of ASAT technologies such as the SC-19 (refer to Chinese 2010/2007 tests).

The reality is that America is a weakening and declining power and China and Russia are rising powers. The trend in history has shown that Rising and declining powers come into conflict (ex Germany-UK 1914) and China and Russia are being transformed into heavily ultranationalised and militarized countries similar to the Japanese of 1930's.

Yes the US primarily depends on carrier battle groups but the DF-21D did not reach its full potential yet. However, Russian anti ship missiles are not to be under estimated. They are really fast, they operate in a pack (usually 8 missiles) and they fly at a low altitude thus hidden to radar at long / medium ranges. Examples include Oniks and Yakhont. I am not aware of ASAT technologies, I will check them as soon as I have time. Thanks for the info. I agree China and Russia are rising and thus comes the name of the mod "Red Phoenix Rising" The red "twin" headed phoenix of this mod resembles both China and Russia. Each head symbolizes a country. However the mod does not portray a decline of the US. Its just that both China and Russia are rising to a point which they can compete with the US. This is where the story starts. I feel like replicating red alert 2 in this mod as I really really really miss that game and especially Westwood Studios however it will be a slightly realistic/futuristic red alert 2. If we get more support such a campaign will be created faster.

Description

Note: FX especially explosions are not final.
The first 6 minutes is a fight between the PGZ04A and the AH64E Apache. At 6:51, HQ9 vs Aircrafts (Still not balanced yet).

2 new multiple targeting systems are shown in this video. The first is version 2.5 which is used on all short range air defense systems (PGZ04A, US AVENGER and Russia's TUNGUSKA). This version is much less effective than the old IRMTS and I think fits SHORAD systems well. I tried my best to make it balanced. The next version is v2.8 which will be used on the HQ-9, S400, and PAC-2/3 Patriot. I finished working on it yesterday so its not balanced yet. It allows total control of the ZH targeting system and fixes every known bug with the IRMTS (flares, ECM, low altitude flying, and firing at the same target twice or more).
