Why not have the Type-59D as the entry level tank and with subsequent Generals upgrades and promotions have the Type 96A and then eventually the Type 99A1 and then finally the Type 99A2.
I did not know they are producing HQ 19's! Thanks for the info. Yes the type 99 tank will be included if anyone could contribute a good model. I am not planning to use any tank model below 1200 polys. Regarding the JH-7A, its planned I just forgot to write it. Thanks again for the interesting links.
I also have some other suggestions for the unit list:
"Strategic Aircraft: Hong 6" - For that I would recommend using the Hong-6K (God of War variant) as that is the latest variant to enter service and the main ALCM carrier.
"Shilka (mobile anti air)" You can use the Pantsir S1 or the Tunguska-M1.

"BUK-M2 (SA 17) SAM Site, Tor M2e ADMS"
These are experimental variants not in service (the Buk-M2) and the Tor M2E is an export version not in service first seen during MAKS 2007. E meaning Export.
The 9K332 "Tor-M2" however has been in service since 2008 and complements the tracked variants.
when i wrote the list i was somehow confused between the old shilka and the pantsir S1 or the Tunguska but i chose shilka for the sake of simplicity. that decision is never final. Yes E usually means export, my mistake. thanks for pointing that out. will use the Tor-M2. So you suggest we use the BUK M1? The decision regarding the shilka will be made later as I have no plans of modeling russian mobile anti air soon. Thanks for your useful comments, you seem to have a good knowledge of weapon systems.
The Beryusa (as the Shilka is actually known as now) is being phased out by the Tunguska and the Pantsir S1 currently. There are only currently 12 in service so I doubt it would make more sense to use the Beryusa than the Tunguska or Pantsir.

Nice selection, but maybe you could add the F-35 Lightning II, as they are to be delivered right now and the AH-1Z Viper.
And when you add kind of "experimental and not in service" units like the Tor-M2E, T-50 PAKFA and J-20, you should also consider adding the X-46 (will be B-46 when in service?) as a stealth drone bomber for US.
Will the F-22 Raptor also have the Multiple Targeting system as the SAM's have? Cause the US(NATO) does not have anything near the capabilities the Tor-M2 (mobility/range/firepower) has.. unless you implement the AH-64E Apache (also with multi targeting) to balance it..
You have a valid and rigid point regarding the experimental units. I was thinking about that too when i decided to add the j20, this point will be considered. The tor M2 is primarily intended to target ballistic missiles. I know it can target air crafts in real life but i doubt it can shoot down high altitude flying aircrafts such as the F22 raptor.
AH-1Z Viper and F-35 might be included but i feel we have a lot of US aircrafts on the mod.
If you give more airplanes to NATO/US, you may balance out thier weakneeses in AntiAir combat. I implemented the AH1Z Viper into my mod with all the 4 weapons it can have (M197 20mm, 8x Hellfire ATGM, 2x19 70mm Hydra missiles and 2 AIM-9X Sidewinder AAM) with a little trick ;)
With changes in the Armorsets you can make high flying bombers and jets unattackable for SHORAD like Tor
they wont be attack-able by tor, i already made the changes in armor. However the S400 will be watching for these bombers 24/7 :) Moreover, the NATO/US dont have a weak anti air. The patriot has a decent range, speed, and accuracy.
F-35 began reaching Operational Evaluation status in 2011 and reached IOC in Eglin AFB.
T-50 Pak-Fa and J-20 will reach IOC beginning within a couple of years. They are not experimental units but rather prototype.
The Tor-M2E is an export version of the Tor-M2 so I am not sure why it is mentioned.

Its a cancelled experimental unit.
I thought the tor m2e was the newest version. I did not think about the E... Now its fixed in the units list along with the pantsir s1 and tunguska. we might have both. Yes the T50 and J20 are prototypes but the T50 will be ready way before the J20 . Thats why i am not going to remove the T50.
Depending on which source is used for reference the IOC for both J20 and T50 should be very close to one another.
The unit list needs to be revised again. The MIM72 is long since retired since the 1990s and the same applies to the F4G.
yes the MIM-72 was retired but i dont know US SAMs well. If you have any mobile anti air to be used instead of the m163 then I will add it to the list. the only thing i can think of is MIM-23 Hawk.
That's also phased out with US Service. The M163 continues to be the main mobile SPGAAA.

u can add b32 *** bomber for gla lets say its been bought in black market and it can deliver anthrax bomb or atom bomb ^^ and for the bobmer maybe mig 23? maybe u can some ww2 touches perhaps with some kind of semi advance but with propeler hmmmmm oh and yeah for the fighter as fas as i can remember some mid east countries use f4's and f5 its modified u can add it i with mig 21
as for the mobile aa i saw a tralier with a dual 40mm anti air being pulled by a power truck or a technical with a dual stinger attached to it >.< u can also add centurion tank for gla well its been used alot at mid east so gla must have captured something and its the one of the 1st modern tank ryt and t55 and t72 will be the most advance for the gla and also a anti tank emplacement that can garrison to infantry for support and also add camo netting ^^ thanks for reading my suggestion super flanker
Good suggestions regarding GLA, all will be considered when revisiting the unit list. Regarding the chapparal, it was on the list but it was removed because it is no longer in service with the US military. I am currently searching for something to take its place, if u have suggestions tell me.

the first link is a patriot, not an avenger. the avenger has a range of 6km only thats its only problem. I think it uses stinger missiles. correct me if i am wrong especially about the range. Yes a scorpion IFV is a good APC for the gla since it is available everywhere in the middle east. I will add it to the list. GLA will have guns so dont worry about AA but i dont know what SAM site to add for them. I think operating a SAM site is too hard for them :P
no i was suggesting two things the avenger and the mobile patriot i just 4got to say it ^^ so u think mobile patriot can be use as a mobile anti air,regardng to the avenger u can stil put it as a short range anti air or if u dont like try using slam ram its its a humvee with huge missels at top i thinks its hawks missiles not sure for the sam site i think u can put the one that vietnam uses against us before u know that big missile i dont really know what it called >.<
the patriot will be modeled with its radar and command outpost so it wont be mobile. Also it has a long range so making it mobile will be a nightmare for aircrafts and ballistic missiles. ill use either the slamram or the avenger.

id love to add that but thats too much work for now. If someone donates a complete faction or several models i will include that. Also if we finish working on the current goals ill add it but thats far from now.
China doesn't use the SA-6 (2K12 Kub). They still however use the HQ-2B in addition to a wide variety of other air defense systems.
Also the Iskander-K was never accepted into service. Currently Russia uses the Iskander-M (modernized).

Hey SUPER-FLANKER i really look forward for this mod because ive been looking for a realistic modernwarfare mod for generals since ive played Cold War Crisis which is also quite realistic if you are looking for units why not visit the Rise of the Reds page they have units there that is also present in real world especially in Russian and Gla factions i hope this mod comes a long way goodluck :D
