US Patriot PAC2 Coding and Animating done image - Dow-Host: Red Phoenix Rising mod for C&C: Generals Zero Hour
Dow-Host: Red Phoenix Rising is a total conversion of CNC zerohour. The mod aims to deliver a more realistic battlefield experience. Also, this mod will transform Zerohour to a more demanding strategy game while keeping some arcade touches to make the game enjoyable. The following playable factions will be included: USA, Russia, China, EU, and the GLA
I finished coding and animating the following anti aircraft units:
1. Russian S400
2. 91N6E Big Bird Radar
3. Chinese HQ-9
4. US Patriot MIM-104 PAC2
5. ANMPQ53 Patriot Radar
6. AN/TWQ-1 Avenger
7. 2k22M1 Tunguska-M1
8. PGZ-07A
-All anti aircrafts in the mod are vehicles.
-The patriot, the HQ-9, the S400, and their radars are transported on trailers. These units must be deployed to function and they can be deployed anywhere on the map.
-All AA units have similar to real life deploy animations.
-All AA units have the multiple targeting system capability but tweaked to fit in the role of the AA unit (SHORAD or ABM functionality is different from mid range or long range air defense).
-SAM launchers require the enemy aircraft to be detected in order to function. Aircraft can be detected through the radar or through revealing the map by other units.
All short and long range air defenses are ready therefore I think its time to add mid range air defenses. If you have suggestions for units that can act as mid range air defense for the USA and China, please suggest it here. I already chose the BUK M1 as a mid range air defense for Russia.
