Hello fans of the RC MOD!

After a long time things are really starting to move inside the mod team. Although we are working on multiple fields at once, we are proud to present one of our mod's beloved feature: The Elven CaC!

At the moment the CaC is designed with 3 classes :The High-Elf Warden,The High-Elf Protector and The Elven Marchwarden. For this article we will show you only the High-Elf Protector.

The High-Elf Protector is specialized in wielding a sword and a shield making him perfect for taking multiple enemies at once. He is very resilient and strong, feared by anyone!

We have added loads and loads of options to customize him. At the moment the gear you can chose from is both from high-elves and wood elves.We have about 10 helmet deigns, 8 chest designs, 5 shoulder designs and gauntlets and about 4 shields. You can chose from items you see on the High-Elven units or items specially made for the CaC. We have added anything it went through our mind and we will continue to expand this feature even more!

In case you were wondering, if you like a full-geared Noldor or Galadhrim with the design from the movies, we got that! The original model never satisfied that feeling, he didn't even had pants.

We hope this demonstrates we are not dead yet and we are really working toward a finale since the Bfme community is slowly decreasing in number.

And as bonus, in this picture you might see a glimpse of other things we are working on.

I like the mod but will you be making updates based on the Hobbit Movies? The elves could either be split into separate factions or even sub-factions (though the game does straight up tell me that the faction is unfinished :p )

Mordor could use more units. According to the books they had warg riders as well as giant spiders at the fortress of Dol Guldur. I just always felt that Mordor's strength was in its variety of unit types

Rohan needs a spearman battalion, even if it is weak.

Finally, Gondor's basic units... I get what you're going for. They're wearing black tunics with chain mail underneath, but could they at least have their helmets on? They look like they've been dragged out of bed. Or have them armored sans the shoulder pads until upgraded.

All in all I love what you're doing for the mod and eagerly await the updates. Keep up the good work

Heya ,

Most of the visual of the mod will change .We will introduce Hobbit changes once all movies are out .

Elves are splited in High-Elves and Wood Elves subfactions of the main faction "Elves".Until now we have worked on High-Elves and we should have some goodies stuff for them soon enough.We are not working on Wood Elves as we wait the Hobbit movies to get out so we can rip-off some cool designs.

Mordor won't increase in unit type beacause those guys are going to our Dol Guldur faction .( yeah , Dol Guldur is a subfaction of the Sauron faction , same as Mordor ).

I agree on the pikemen of Rohan.

All Gondor units (as art) will be replaced with new ones , I believe I had them posted .Here :

So the whole mode is going through an upgrade. Stay tuned !

So how will Sauron's armies work, then? Mordor/Minas Morgul will be more military based and Cirith Ungol will be more dark sorcery and beasts such as the spiders and such?

Then there are the Goblins and Dwarves. I like the pictures of what's coming for the Dwarf faction, which is my favorite with Gondor and Rohan fighting for 2nd Place.

I'm guessing you're waiting for more material from The Hobbit to be released in order to get the new skins for the Misty Mountains?

Just try to keep in mind, images posted AFTER a release date, are obviously not in the release :) Most people don't check that. CaC is not even the version we currently have, so yea :P

Good mod but there are many defects.
Ex. Blocky elements in CAC mode, the souds of new added heroes.
The images here on moddb are showing some great modells of heroes etc.
Ex. great Eomer model that does not appear in the game.
When i saw your mod here i was so goddamn excited...
but after launching it i've met a huge disappointment.
But keep up with your idea which is greater than i could immagine.

After Geel contacted me and provided the fix I gave the mod another chance. At it's current state the mod is doing good. There are some maps that do not support BFME1 and/or 2 mode so they end instantly and few other things that need to be tweaked.

All together, I have decided to give this mod a 10 only because the mod creator is personally taking his time to get the mod working for individuals and I honestly do believe that after few fixes it will be a mod worth playing.

Complicated to install, lacks maps, graphics for certain structures need updates. Multiplayer is far to complicated to be practical.
