Hello fans and followers,

First of all I would like to thank all of you who are still around, and actively following the mod.
You guys have been a great inspiration to me and the rest of the team, so thanks to all of you for that!

Now without further ado:

Today I present to you a nice little video...
...Which took me more time than I had hoped...
It's the castle of the High Elves!
This neat castle is the base which you will get in-game during the BFME 1 mode, whilst playing as the High Elves!
I hope you guys like the movie, I spent quite some time on it, and so has Valaquenta.

Feel free to give comments or suggestions on the things you see!
(Do keep in mind that things you suggest can only be changed if it actually has anything to do with the actual base, so no saying "I don't like the forest outside the base" won't make me recreate the whole movie (But obviously if you don't like the forest, feel free to share!) )

I wouldn't mind knowing a release date, such as a month maybe. I suspect it will be done either late summer or early Fall.

But then again, it gets on one's nerves when people consistently request a release date. Simply done when it's done, check it once a day or once a week for updates.

I have a question, the gondor pikemen uses the gondor tower guard voice. Shouldn't it just use the gondor soldier's voice?
You know, "Soldiers of Gondor!" "Stand fast men." "Ready Yourselves!" As opposed to "We guard the white tower!" "Tower Guard!"

Because at the siege of Minas Tirith gandalf and the other soldiers are there with spears and swords. meaning their both grunts that fall into the same category as opposed to using gondor elite's voice.

I realize this is small and unimportant lol
But it should use gondor soldier's voice I think, not the tower guard's voice imo

Well most mods (Such as RJ & RC) use the Tower Guard voice for the regular Gondor Spearmen's just because they're both pikemen ^^

But as I said, at Minas Tirith there were Gondor Archers,Gondor Soldiers, and Gondor Spearmen. So yeah.. it should probably use the same voice as the Gondor Soldier's. The only phrase that refers to swords and not pikes is "Draw Your Swords!". The other ones refer to regular unit phrases. "Watch Your Flank!" "Keep Fighting Men!". Just Thought I would post this since I believe It should use the other one. Well I just never liked hearing the tower guard voice when it should be the other lol

They all use the same armor too. (Archers,Swordsmen,Spearmen,Knights)

Any version of BFME 2 is fine, but for online play (lan) the latest version of BFME 2 is advised ;)

After Geel contacted me and provided the fix I gave the mod another chance. At it's current state the mod is doing good. There are some maps that do not support BFME1 and/or 2 mode so they end instantly and few other things that need to be tweaked.

All together, I have decided to give this mod a 10 only because the mod creator is personally taking his time to get the mod working for individuals and I honestly do believe that after few fixes it will be a mod worth playing.

Complicated to install, lacks maps, graphics for certain structures need updates. Multiplayer is far to complicated to be practical.
