Nice quality, I would make it brighter though.
Ermmmmm... first of all, his old axe was fine. His helm is better than EA's, but his face no longer looks like him. His mail is too bluish, and his clothes really don't match up with what he wore in the films. Also, I don't understand why his beard color needed to be changed. I don't mean to be critical, but overall I liked theirs better.
...His beard was not orange :P But ok I know its not exactly like in the movie, but i planned on changing him again later.
His face is gimli's and its not some other face, i took it from some snapshot in the movie. How could you like EA's better? :O

I prefer your Gimli over EA's. But, his clothes do seem a little... Fake. >.>
