WARNING!!! Due to some Dropbox policies changes the launcher cannot download the files for the mod with this version. Instead go for V3.01 Full Installer!!! Sorry for the inconvenience. This is the latest installer for The Ridder Clan Mod. The Installer is as simple as it can be, change the installation path to where you want the mod to be installed, and press install, the installer will take care of the rest! It downloads the required files for the mod to update itself to the latest version, and creates the foundation for the mod to be installed on. If you encounter any problems feel free to contact us on Revora or here on ModDB! (Updated, no longer requires DLL's and also works on Windows XP)

Exactly... That's why it's a preload :)
Tomorrow the rest of the mod should be released some time, then you can play as much as you want in the weekend :P
And on that note we can also release small patches during the weekend, because of some time problems we might not be able to throw everything in tomorrow, but yes it will be released tomorrow! :)

Download the rc mod cd from on here, and then run the game. Or download the single-player files from in the news post and use those to run it.

Only 4 factions ??? why is that , and moreover men faction is the same completly .I dont understand , i follow the instructions and it says after instalation RC mod is up to date . but yet when i start the game only 4 factions ?
We have not yet gotten around to readding and changing the rest. Unless you missed the news post, we had to completely recode the entire mod due to an unknown bug that crashed the game randomly... But new factions will come!

Aye, overall a recode was the best approach anyways, we have much more experience with modding now, so it allows us to get stuff done quicker, and cleaner :P
So when I try to install, the directory I use is the default one that pops up. The directory is C:\Program Files(x86)\Ridder Clan\The Lord of The Rings, The Battle for Middle-Earth II - RC Mod. When I hit install, I get a warning that says "This folder already exists! It >WILL BE DELETED< Before installing the mod! The installation directory should NOT be in the same location as the original games! Are you sure you want to continue?" This warning pops up no matter what directory I use. I have installed RC mod before but that was a total mess so I removed all remnants of the mod I could. Is this directory alright to use? I checked the directory and there is a folder there for Ridder Clan but it's empty. I just want to make sure it's ok for me to delete it and continue to use the same directory.
That is just an informative message. You can use the folder safely.
Also it says it's downloading form the online database but it doesn't do anything after that. I don't know if it just takes a while or if it's just not working.
I was able to get the installer up after copying the game2.dat to the mods directory. I download the installer and a message pops up saying that a new version is available for download. It'll will ask if I want to update and I'll click yes and nothing happens. The installer disappears and that's the end of it. The mod never updates or gets installed. I saw a post about this issue earlier a week ago but it was said that the mod would be fine after a day that post was made. How can this be fixed?
downloaded and it says preload complete how do i play?
unsure if i missed something simple. but i downloaded the installer, ran it. downloaded for a while. now how do i actually launch the game? i've tried launching both bfme2 and bfme2 ROTWK. what am i missing? in the install folder is the "launcher" and "updater" all of which just tell me to pre load it and says its complete.
i posted an above issue about not working. i reinstalled bfme2 and ROTWK then the mod and the mod seems to have installed correctly now. however when i launch it it crashes on startup with no error. i have tried mounting the ROTWK cd, the BFME2 cd, your cd file for running, and your single player launcher and it crashes every time. really wanna get this mod working though :(

When I click on RC mod singleplayer I get a message saying ''The program can't start because MSVCR71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program the to fix this problem. I reinstalled both BFME2 and the mod and I still get this message. Any idea on how to fix this?

Hello! I just installed the mod + the CD thingy, but I keep getting the message "Insert the correct CD" any clues of how to fix? :)
Nevermind! Fixed! But a new prob appears tho.... Whenever I start the game, I get the loading launcher thingy, but nothing happens afterwards?
Does the mod have to be played with RotWK? Or can it be played with the original BFMEII? I get the error message, "please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application". I have the original BFMEII in the disc drive currently.

Where do I find this downloead? I just downloaded the latest version of the mod. But it keeps asking for a disk, I only have the BFME2 disk, Which one do I need?
Yeah there is a registry issues, if you don't have the ROTWK cd either download our Singleplayer files as explained above in the description, or download and mount the RC Mod CD. Good luck!

sorry but I don't understand smthg here.. I've already downloaded Rc mod vr 3.. where is the singleplayer ..do you mean the main rc mod in 1.06 vr (in the download section, or it's somewhere else ).. I have rotwk '' the special edition'' how can I use it to play the rc mod ..?
If you have the ROTWK CD you can simply use it to play the mod.

RC Mod is an expansion to ROTWK, so if you use the ROTWK CD, it will also be used by RC MOD. You start RC MOD and NOT ROTWK.
